Hey guys! This chapter has a lot more attention towards Gundham!!!!

"My, my.. If only you listened, you annoying little sister!!" Monokuma snickers. I raise my face away from Gundham's scarf and cautiously look around, everyone stood still for a couple seconds. the only thing you could hear was the soft blow of the tropical wind and the splashes of the salty sea water.

"Wha--WHATTT??!!" Teruteru exclaims, clutching his hands in his hair.

"Blub-blub-blub...It's only the first stage...And Monomi's already dead!!" Ibuki mutters, foaming out of the mouth.

"A-ah! Mioda-chan! You're foaming out of your mouth!!" Mikan yells from somewhere, still patching up hajime's cheek.

Gundham stands up again, clutching your arm, "I-is that a demon..? o-or maybe it's a weapon from the future?!" 

"Ah yes, monobeasts are dreadful weapons of destruction!" monokuma announces. 

after Monokuma's little speech, we're all left in shock once again, nobody dares to move, afraid to have the same fate as the stuffed rabbit.

Monokuma rambles on and on about 'despair' but in all honesty, i can't seem to pay attention to what he's saying. im much more focused on something else. although i'm not entirely sure what, that very odd feeling your getting watche-

"AHEMMM MS (L/n)!!" The bear is suddenly right in front of my face. i jump back, frightened from the sudden appearance. 

"u-m, yes?" i say, although it seems to come out as a squeak.

"Have you been paying attention?! I've updated your E-handbook for the Killing School Trip!" he announces.

"Ah, alright.." I mutter.

"Alright everyone! head off to wherever you'd like! don't get killed~! er- try not to be-" He says, cursing himself as he walks away for saying the wrong words.

I look up to Gundham but his eyes seem to be fixated on the stuffed bear, until it disappeared into thin air! 

"H-huh?! Did you see that (Y/n)?!" he says, pointing towards the spot where the bear once was, "He disappeared like a dark shadow, such witchcraft!"

"....or maybe it was a simple allusion, with the distance and all." I suggest.

"Ah, perhaps you are correct.... I'm glad to have made you my loyal sidekick, you always have such rational reasoning for everything." he mutters, covering half of his face with his scarf. Ugh! he's so cute when he does that! ah! what am I thinking?!

"mhmm, maybe it was just fate that we found ourselves here together!" I say, clasping my hands together and letting a closed eye smile loose. (reference to last chapters title loll-)

"hmph, perhaps." 

"Everyone stay calm." A stern voice erupts everyone's worry.

I look up and see Byakuya, pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.

"Those monobeats clearly have to be controlled, meaning they won't attack us out of the blue, hence some sort of 'instinct' from a mechanical devise. probably." He says, trying to calm us down in his own way, "However that doesn't mean we shouldn't be relaxed, you heard what he said; 'Killing school trip.' I'm afraid to say that our absolute enemy at the moment, is ourselves."

After hearing those words I completely zone out the entire world around me. 'our absolute enemy at the moment, is ourselves.' If that's true then can I truly trust anyone here? Can I trust Komeada-kun? Ibuki? ....Gundham..? 

Can I even trust myself?

What kind of a question is that of course I can, I faint at the sight of blood..

"I'm just gonna.. Head to my cottage.." I announce, trudging towards the restaurant.

I walk up the door of my cottage but my eyes trace over to a pool near the front of the restaurant. I walk over to the water, the smell of chlorine fills my nose. I sit down next to the clearly dyed water and look at it's unnatural light-ish blue color. I suddenly remember that monokuma has updated the E-handbook and I pull it out of my pocket. (Because (Y/n) is cool and owns a skirt that has pocket B])

I look up again to check if Gundham has walked off yet, he hasn't. He had walked up to me to check if I was okay and I had explained I was just in shock and was reading the new rules, He offered to stay and protect me against 'Horrid dark forces.' And I had accepted.

I look forwards, across the pool and notice Hajime looking up towards the sky, thinking to himself, and I do the same.

I look up and my eyes are instantly filled with a beautiful dark black sky, only illuminated by the moon and stars, the stars twinkle and flutter across the sky, splattered in random areas to pure perfection. 

How long have I been sitting here?-

A bell interrupts my thoughts as I hear a high pitched voice saying "(monokma's curfew announcement, i'm sorry I'm tired)"

I make my way back to my cottage, waving Gundham goodbye as I walk through my door. suddenly, the weight of they day hits me all at once and I'm utterly exhausted.

I lay down on my bed, it's actually really comfortable... but that doesn't really matter, why did I end up here? What is this sudden utter feeling of dread?  d e s p a i r ?  no, I can't think like that. Surely this is a dream and it'll all be better tomorrow when I wake up..yeah.. I might even write a poem about it and laugh about it with my sister. 

I'm..

               sure.....

                                    she........... 

                                                                 ......wouldn't....

mind..

And I quickly drifted off into a deep sleep.
