Chapter Eleven

HERMIONE'S POV

"That was sweet of Mister Malfoy to bring you up here don't you think?" She asked in a suggestive tone. I knew where she was going and I needed to put a stop to it, right away. "Oh no, no miss we are just friends." She raised her eye brows and wandered off to go get something, mumbling under her breath. "Just friends" I repeated. Are we? We have been spending nearly every second together and he has changed. I can't like Draco can I? No. "Just Friends." I said under my breath. "Sorry darling what was that?" Madam Pomprfy asked with a smile. "Oh, nothing." Smiled weakly. "Here drink this, it will fix your ankle and when Mister Malfoy returns you can go." She handed me a small vile, I took a swig and it tasted disgusting. I nearly had to spit it out but I forced it down. Five minutes passed and Draco finally came back. I was so glad to see him. I hated it in here, spell to much like medicine. I ran up and hugged Draco. I noticed Draco was taken back but then he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and we stood there for what seemed like forever but them we both pulled apart. I soon realized it wasn't long enough. "Just friends." I heard Madam Pomprfy chuckle just as we left. I blushed and Draco smirked at me. "Why are you blushing?" At least he didn't hear the comment by Madam Pomprfy. "No reason, why are you smirking?" I replied trying to change the topic. "No reason, Why'd you hug me?" We carried on playing this 'game' until we got to the common room.

When we got in I went to the kitchen and pulled out a coke m, it was delicious. "What's that?" I reached into the fridge again and pulled out another coke. I opened the bottle and handed it to him. "Try this, it's called coke. It's a muggle drink." I said mater of facterly. He put the bottle to his lips and took a sip. I watched as his eyes widened and then he gulped some more down. He out the empty glass bottle on the counter and looked at me with puppy dog eyes. I got out another one and gave it to him. He looked like a kid on Christmas day. I started to make my was upstairs when he caught my wrist. He span me around and before I could do anything he crashed his lips onto mine. At first I was shocked and didn't know what to do. I felt the electricity that I always felt when we touched but this was the strongest amount I have ever felt. I slowly relaxed and replied to the kiss. We kissed for a long time. I have never felt like this before when Ron kissed me. His were always needy, Draco's were passionate. I'm kissing Draco Malfoy. I'm kissing Draco Malfoy, what would Harry and Ginny think. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no. I can't we just became friends. There's no way this would work. He's a pureblood and I'm just a filthy mudblood. What if it turned out bad, I might lose him as a friend. No, I can't lose him. I'll be alone. I pulled away and ran upstairs. Leaving Draco confused downstairs.
