Chapter Fourteen

HERMIONE'S POV
Teddy and Blaise would often stay at mine and Draco"s common room and over the week, we became quite good friends. I didn't see much of Harry and Ginny that week but I didn't really mind. I was having so much fun.
Sunday final arrive and we all took a seat in our houses soon to maybe sit at other tables.
Maybe I'll be like Ginny and get Gryffindor, "Draco Malfoy " I watched as he walked up the stairs, he looked nervous but then he focused his eyes on me and relaxed. "Slytherin" a chorus of cheers came from Slytherin " Harry Potter " " Gryffindor " that's no change and I think everyone saw that coming "Luna Lovegood " " Ravenclaw" I know this sound crazy but Luna is really one of the smartest people I know she makes you think without really realizing it. "Ronald Weasley " "Hufflepuff " I almost doubled over in laughter! "Lavender brown " or rainbow girl is what Draco would call her because her name consist of too colors took the stage. " Hufflepuff" good she's gone. I don't know why she was in Gryffindor in the first place! "Blaise Zambini" he sat on the chair but before the hat was properly placed on it head it "Slytherin" was called out. Same happen with Teddy and other Slytherins. " Neville Longbottom " he looked as nervous as he did in the first year. " Ravenclaw" everyone was gob smacked! I really wasn't surprised, he's a lot smarter that people think. He made his way off to the Ravenclaw table and sat with his girlfriend. They are so cute together ! I was to busy watching them almost to busy not to here my name." Hermione Graunt " I walked up to the chair and sat in it. Not Hufflepuff it's such a stupid please not Hufflepuff, loyal and kindness I'm seriously how stupid is that just not Hufflepuff. " not Hufflepuff aye not Hufflepuff hm those are some mean things in your head ms Graunt and might I say dear you are very cunning! Well I guess you are a Slytherin " the hat bellowed. I knew this might happen now that I was a Pureblood but wow ! I heard cheers from the Slytherin table as I made my way over having glares sent at me by the Gryffindors table. Seriously they have known me for 7 years I can't believe it!! Teddy moved over and I sat down next to him. He nudge me and gave me a 'it's gonna be okay smile'. I'm so lucky they are my friends. I was the only one sorted from another house into Slytherin. Some Hufflepuffs swapped and went to Ravenclaw the Gryffindors didn't get any new people but the did lose some. Including me. "That's so cool!" Teddy shouted looking at me. "What, what's wrong?" I thought I had something on my face. "Your tie and cloak just changed!" I looked down and he was right. It went from red and gold to silver and green. Dinner was quite nice. I sent a few glances to the Gryffindor table but they all glared at me except two. Harry and Ginny. I love them so much. I knew they wouldn't betray me. Later we all went down to the dungeons. The boys threw me a congrats party for becoming a Slytherin. Everyone was so nice to me it was weird.
An hour into the party some shouted truth or dare. We all sat in a circle. Draco to my left and Teddy to my right. Astoria was next to Blaise and to the right off Pansy. A bottle was placed in the middle. Pansy was the person who took me most by surprised. She once came to the common room and we hung out. She's actually a lot nicer once you get to know her. She started. She looked at me evilly. "Hermione, truth or dare." She asked. Normally I would go for truth but I was a new person in a new house with new friends. "Dare" I said back. Ohhhhh's were heard around the room. She grinned wickedly at me. What was she up to? " I dare you to snog the person to your left for 2 minuets!" She looked at me innocently but I knew she was up to something. Not wanting to be a wimp. I turned to Draco and crashed his lips against mine. I felt a pulse of electricity go through me, like the night we first kissed. He was shocked at first then went in to it. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance and I complied. It was pure bliss. It felt so short but Pansy suddenly shouted "Time." We broke apart out of breath. My lips were swollen and my heart was racing. Everyone just stared at us. I span the bottle and it landed on Blaise. This will be fun. With everyone still silent I continued, "Truth or dare Blaise?" It took him a moment but he then responded. "Truth ." " If you could snog anyone in this room who would it be?" I could see him thinking then he smirked. Wow Slytherins do smirk a lot! " You" and with that he winked at me. I blushed but none could tell because I was still flustered from the kiss with Draco. The game continued. Eventually Draco and I left at one in the morning. We made our way up to the common room in silence. Once in side I headed straight for my room. After five minuets I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door and was surprised. Draco had cupped my face with his large hands and kissed me. I kissed back and we stood there for what seemed like forever kissing each other. We broke apart. "Hermione, last time you backed away from me because you thought we would never work, because you were a mudblood and a Gryffindor princess and I was a pureblood and the Slytherin prince. But that excuse doesn't work anymore because you too are a pureblood and you are a Slytherin. What I'm trying to say is that I have like you for a long time and was wandering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" I thought over what he said and it was true. Those were my reasons but now they were invalid. I agree in the most appropriate way, I kissed him. I pulled away longer enough to say something. "Yes." We kissed once more. I pulled away and led him towards my bed. We sat there and just talked. " I know you will probably want to hide our relationship and that's fine with me, only if your mine." I was touch by his statement. But it was partially incorrect. "Draco, I am yours until you don't want me." "I will always want you Hermione." Draco said smiled down at me. "But I couldn't careless if we were seen in public holding hands. We are both purebloods so none will judge you and we are both from Slytherin so I guess there nothing stopping us." We talk for a few more hours. It was 3 am by the time we went to bed. " I'll see you in the morning Hermione." " stay please, stay with me tonight?" I asked. With out saying anything he took off his clothes until he was just in his boxers and slipped in the bed. I fell asleep thinking of Draco whist he hugged me and I have never felt more safe than in Draco's arms.
