Chapter 2: My fortress is rebuilt

Percy's POV

I had no idea where I would reside.  There were so many beautiful places in the world that needed to be scarred by my more awesome fortress that I had planned to make. I decided that it would best be Egypt, of which was easy to build on, and a pretty nice place. I started by burning down Cairo. Then, I lifted Giza itself by speaking the word *lift* in Egyptian magic Hieroglyphs. After this, I connected the Pyramids and channeled their power to a certain spot. Lastly, I built my fortress and left the Pyramids floating. Once I finished this, I took the Egyptian pantheon for myself.  

 Nico's POV

You know how I said finding these monsters was going to be hard? It was harder than hard. After the war with Olympus, at least 70% of all life (Or living dead things) in Tartarus were wiped off the face of the planet. We reached a mountain range reaching to the tops of Tartarus. A few fire demons hung out by a lava stream coming from a volcano, and a Drakon marched towards the west. That was it. I gathered the monsters and told them to meet us at the broken Doors of Death the next day.

Poseidon's POV

I felt an aura of much power and darkness sprout from the deepest and darkest parts of the dungeon. I was familiar with the aura, and I knew exactly what it had come from. I made my way down the dungeon stairs to check on the dark lord, whom I had not checked on in quite some time. I saw the cell door in pieces on the ground, and when I walked inside I saw a fresh corpse. Not the body of Perseus, but it was someone else. Perseus Jackson had escaped, and I needed more drachmas to put a bounty on his head.  

Percy's POV

Most would think that I, as a dark lord, would capture people and enslave them. Actually, I just murdered them. I made use of the bodies and turned them into monster food, and most of the bodies went to my wolves and dogs that tended to be a LOT more aggressive than Lupa's puppies. I  faced daily rebellion coming from the dam Egyptians who were mad because I fed Carter and Sadie Kane to some Drakons. I hadn't been facing any trouble from the other pantheons, save the Roman and Greek pantheons, though. The mortals who came for vacation to Giza didn't bother me, because they turn their vehicles around and never return to the pyramids. Anyways, my fortress was now complete, and it was much sturdier and stronger than the old fortress. It was a tower, surrounded by mountains, volcanoes, lava lakes, and a spiked black wall. There were archways coming from the tower and connecting to the Pyramids. My throne sat at the peak of the tower, and it looked scarier, darker, and had a much eviler aura. Large black spikes came off of the tower, and the top had spikes coming from its corners. My throne lie in-between the spikes, and they were made of a light-weighted metal which kept it from falling. My fortress was not guarded, however. So I have sent Nico and Will to Find some monsters. I have not heard from Leo or the Stolls, so I was on the lookout for them as well. One day I got bored, so I decided to take a walk around Manhattan. I luckily pulled a hood over my head, and nobody recognized me, because there were posters everywhere. These posters had a picture of me, and the had a reward written at the bottom. It was all written in ancient Greek, so it was meant for demigods, nymphs, dryads, etcetera etcetera. I tore down every poster and piled them in central park. I then pulled down my hood and cursed the gods. I burned every poster into ash, and I included some mortal Police cars that started arriving. I didn't bother letting the police officers out of their cars. I flashed away leaving central park in flames. When I got back to my fortress, I saw 3 people walking towards the entrance. Leo Valdez and the Stoll brothers. I walked down the stairs and surprised them with a, "Hello!" Leo yelped and the Connor tripped over Travis. "Wow! I defeated the almighty servants of Perseus by saying Hello," I said sarcastically. The 3 of them chuckled and climbed off of each other. "Greetings master, we have awaited your coming for 10 years," Leo said, "Now I need to take a V.I.P tour of this place. It would be lovely." "Whatever, go explore this place," I told him. They ran inside the fortress. I started construction on the next wall.

Will's POV

 Me and Nico went to the doors of death and saw a great host of monsters waiting there. The first monsters must have told their friends, and then their friends must have told their friends. At least 15,000 monsters were there. Nico and I managed to shadow travel them back to The location Perseus told me to bring them to. We met him there and he flashed the monsters to Giza. "We can finally finish our date," I said happily. "I guess so," Nico said. We went to Perseus fortress and ate there. Leo, Connor, and Travis ran down the Fortress stairs. They were still looking for things that could prove useful in their pranks on the Dark lord. Once they were gone, me and Nico continued our date again.
