Percy's POV

Since the day I had returned, mass chaos had spread throughout the earth. Everywhere I looked, I see death and flame. The previous world population of seven and a half billion has dwindled to thirty-four million people. I wasn't looking at this as the Olympians were, but I saw it as a huge opportunity to take the world for my own. Honestly, I did feel quite depressed, for I had been confined for far too long. I want to fight with my armies and destroy the Olympians with glee. Unfortunately, I knew that I was still vulnerable. I had lost the ability to change into a nonphysical form when I was diminished by the dam chain of Chaos. But I still wanted to fight; therefore, I will do so.

Annabeth's POV

"Why did it have to turn out like this," I whispered as I sobbed. It's all my fault that billions of innocent mortals are dead. After all, I was the one who cheated on Percy. Percy... The name of the Dark lord wouldn't stop circulating through my mind as I cried. As I cried aloud for the rest of the six, and the destruction of the world's beauty. "I hate Percy Jackson," I whispered repeatedly, trying to remove the Dark Lord's supposed presence in my mind. I felt as if he could reach unto my thoughts and control my will. I finally open my eyes and find myself in a room of stone. My bedroom. Just then the door opened, revealing Katy. "Poseidon requires your presence," she said. Her eyes also looked sort of dim, just like mine probably were. She had lost two boyfriends to the dark lord now. One to evil, and one to tragedy. As I looked at her state, I became lost in thought once more. "Come on Annabeth!" Katy said, breaking me out of my thoughts. "Y-yes, one moment," I stammered. Katy left me to myself. I grabbed a rag and wiped the tears off my face. Why did I have to be a demigod in the first place. It has brought me nowhere throughout my life. All I wanted was a happily ever after, but one thing was stopping me from receiving my happy ending. The one that I insisted be killed the day he had arrived. Perseus Jackson.

I stood sleepily in front of Poseidon, wondering why the heck I was even there. "Hello, Annabeth. I have called you here to explain... WHY THE HECK IS PERCY NOT IN THE DUNGEON!!!" "Wh-what? How could he have escaped?" I gasped. "I set you up as the guard! And yet you have no idea how the bastard got away?" Poseidon screamed, "Annabeth Chase, I now curse thy name, and banish thou from the great kingdom of Olympus!" I guessed that Poseidon began speaking like he did in olden times, for he was in such a rage. "Get thyself out of my halls, or I shall curse thee thrice more!" I scrambled away faster than you can say the word: Run. I collapsed as soon as I got on the elevator. I was in shock the entire ride downwards. I never thought that Poseidon would banish me. I kept thinking that this was all a dream, but deep down I knew that I would never return to Olympus again.

Percy's POV

I had just received notice that Annabeth had been banished from Olympus. Annabeth was now basically the laughingstock of the mythological world. I had already ordered some of my mortal slaves to start film her as she ran around the world. I noted that she was currently in Virginia, and she had made no progress of escaping my monsters' wrath. I had left the gods alone for at least a week (Yes, it has been a week since Percy was captured) now.  My hoards were getting restless, and I didn't want to get overthrown by my own subjects.  "My lord," Came a voice from behind me. Nico  and Will stood in the doorway. "Your presence is required in the throne room." Nico said. "WHAT! WHOM WOULD DARE REQUIRE MY PRESENCE IN MY OWN THRONE ROOM!" WHO HAS CALLED ME?!!!?" I screamed in absolute fury. "Neither of us know, my old friend," Will said. I pulled out my darkest and sharpest sword, Riptide, and I made my way down the steps.

When I reached the throne room, a booming voice reached unto my mind, "Ah, I see that you have arrived, Perseus." I knew this voice quite well, and I knew exactly who had asked me to come the the throne room. "Chaos, leave NOW!" I shouted. "Heh heh heh, you cannot tell me what to do! I am your lord!" Chaos exclaimed. I threw my sword in the direction of his voice, and I heard a sickening cry. "No need to be so rash, Perseus," Chaos groaned. Riptide appeared in my pocket. "Step from the dark, lord of light, and fight me at last," I said. "Are you a fool! You do know who you are challenging?" Chaos asked. "Yes, I know I'm challenging the creator, but I also know the the creator is too much of a coward to face his own creation!" I shouted. "As you wish, Dark Lord..." Chaos said. A human figure with pure black eyes and blond hair appeared before me.  "Are you ready... TO DIE!" I exclaimed. A giant hammer appeared in the hands of the lord of light. I took the first swing, and he parried it. I deflected a blow from the creator's hammer and punched him in the nose. "That is not enough to destroy me, dark lord!" Chaos said. He swung, I dodged, and last but definitely not least, I stabbed him in the back. Still not dead, Chaos tried to attack once more, but I grabbed him, and slit his dreadful throat. Chaos's spirit still endured, but I quickly banished it to the void surrounding the world.

Chaos's POV

I was dead, killed by my own creation. I was in awe at the fact that I was killed by the idiotic demigod Perseus. The fates appeared at my spirit's side.

Thou shalt meet the lord of the dark at the end, and thee shalt fight one final battle, before thou art entirely diminished...

The fates then left me unto my own, until I heard another spirit's voice. Unfortunately, I knew who's voice it was. Bentley Jones.
