Annabeth's POV

Dark was the dungeon, and I had begun to feel sympathy for Perseus Jackson. I now knew what it felt like to be fed once a week and to be imprisoned for a long time. That didn't stop me from insulting him and pleading for release. Artemis was most behaved, and she was given a little more freedom. Whilst I was deep in my thoughts, the door of the prison opened. Out stepped Perseus Jackson himself. "Hello, I believe that it is time I show you what happened to the gods and demigods." The dark lord started an Iris message, and it showed a replay of the battle. I cried in despair as I watched many demigods get ripped apart, crushed, and eaten as the battle waged on. The message stopped, and I glared at Perseus. "Why do you do this? You are killing innocent demigods for no reason!" I shouted at him. "Are they really innocent, Annabeth Chase?" He asked. The dark lord Perseus left without another word. "Annabeth, we should keep our mouths shut unless we want to end up like Bianca. Let us wait till we have a chance of escape," Artemis said. "But I don't want to succumb to Perseus's will. I want him to know what happens when you capture demigods. If we annoy him enough perhaps he will let us go," I stated. "Or perhaps he will kill us." "Oh." We were quite for much time afterwards, but eventually Perseus came in and fed us our one slice of old bread. I threw up after eating it. "Please stop this torture," I asked of the dark lord. "Nope," He simply stated before stumbling off to who knows where. But luckily, he forgot to shut the door. Artemis, with what little strength she had left, yanked the chain binding her out of the wall. Artemis then released me. "Why didn't we do this before?" I asked. "Because the door is always locked, and Perseus would come in and lock us up again. Or even possibly put us next to Bianca. Now this is NOT the time for questions. We must go," Artemis quickly replied. We ran quickly down the halls of Perseus until coming to a stop to catch our breath. A small cyclops came stumbling through the halls. "Hey, you aren't supposed to be here. The lord of darkness has requested that you stay in the dungeons," It asked when seeing us. I then realized who the cyclops was. Tyson, Percy's half brother. "Err, the lord has requested that we serve him," I said in my most manipulative voice. "Oh, Ok," Tyson said before wondering off. That made me wonder where Ella was. I then remembered that Tyson had taken her on a trip to CHB where Ella was eaten by the other harpies because she was "Too weak". I turned around a corner to see the dark lord Perseus in a big room questioning a hellhound. We decided to go the other direction. We eventually made it to the surface, but we still had to get over the walls. Monsters were everywhere. From baby hellhounds, to adult Drakons. We acted as if we were dark demigods, and stole some daggers from the smithies. Some monsters did question us, but we told them that we were the servants and warriors of the dark lord. No monsters recognized us, for we were clad in armor made for Perseus's dark demigods. when climbing the stairs of the 1st wall, me and Artemis began to chat. "Do you believe that we will be captured again?" I asked. "No, unless we are defeated in the end," Artemis replied. "Why didn't we save Bianca?" I questioned. "Because we would have been caught," Artemis answered. Why didn't we bring the hunters with us?" I asked once more. "Shut up." Then the conversation ended.

Percy's POV

2 of my prisoners were gone. "Dammit," I murmured. It didn't take long to find them. Annabeth and Artemis were stepping up the the stairs of the second wall. I confronted them once they reached the top of the wall. I saw as they then realized that their was no way to get to the bottom of the other side of the 2nd wall. "Why hello! You two are horrible at escaping. I found you in less than ten minutes!" I exclaimed. "Shut up, foul one. You are too late. We will find a way soon!" Annabeth said. "So, your a daughter of Athena, Right. If so, why are you saying you will escape me when I'm literally a few feet away from you?" I asked. "Oh." Annabeth ran and pushed Artemis out of her way. Artemis fell off the wall and her body fell into the crowds of monsters. Man they must have been hungry. I decided to let Annabeth go, for I needed more challenge from the Olympians. Annabeth ran off and fell off the wall, but she fell on the opposite side of Artemis and fell in sand instead of hardened concrete and monsters. Annabeth survived the fall and ran in the direction of Olympus. I turned away and went to visit Blackjack whom was in his stables.

Annabeth's POV

I got out of the vicinity of Perseus's fortress, and made a silent prayer to Poseidon. I asked him to flash me to Olympus. Then I wondered why I didn't do that in the prison. Dam. Anyways, Poseidon agreed and I felt the familiar feeling of being flashed away. I looked up and was greeted by the sea lord. "Greetings, Annabeth Chase. I see that you escaped the prison of Perseus," Poseidon said, "Did you recover any important information?" "Artemis is dead, and Bianca is chained at the top of the fortress. That's about it," I replied hastily. "That is not good. Now go and see the others. They are worried much of you." Suddenly, Malcom and Katie Barged in with Rachel. "A prophecy is being spoken," Malcom panted. Rachel's eyes turned green and green smoke came out of her mouth.

The king of murder has returned. The ones in the darkness and despair shalt be turned. A fight that never ends. The dark lord wrecks those once his friends.

I watched as Rachel collapsed. Everyone was silent. The one line 'The dark lord wrecks those once his friends' was the most effective. "Well, Prophecies are always tricky. Perhaps it means something different," Katie Gardner stated. Everybody agreed with her. Though we were in a situation whence we could be destroyed immediately, we still were pretty hopeful.

Malcom's POV

It was obvious that we were going to lose. It was indefinitely going to happen. I knew that I had to do something. Then I remembered something I read in a book. I had an idea. I was going to challenge Perseus to a battle to the death. No interference whatsoever. I told everyone I was going on a quest, mounted my Pegasus, and flew into the dark lands of Giza.

Percy's POV

After the monsters were done having dinner with Artemis, I went to check on Bianca. The chain binding her to the fortress was broken, and the monsters were all gathered below the place Bianca was dangling. The dam daughter of Hades had struggled too hard, and the chain had snapped. I chuckled at the demigod's stupidity and went to my throne to take a break. I watched several movies, read several books (Remember, I don't have dyslexia anymore), and took several naps. Eventually, I got up and went to the training rooms. On the way, I ordered some dark demigods to clean up the messes that Bianca and Artemis left behind. Upon my entry, the monsters and demigods training began to work better and quicker. I chuckled. I decapitated a dummy, then impaled another. I really needed to improve the durability of these dummies. After another hour of playing kick the buddy with dummies, I decided that I needed to actually do something instead of lazing around. I went to my planning table where I started putting my minions in random places. I would send the flying creatures with demigods and monsters on their backs into Olympus itself! The other part is simple. Creatures who don't fly can Attack! That was my plan for the 2nd great battle. I chuckled in delight. The Olympians only bested me with a 2nd betrayal. Now with all these loyal monsters and demigods, I am invincible! This time, the Olympians will suffer defeat!
