Bandit (Toph X male reader)

[Y/N]'s past part 1

It was the middle of the night. Everyone was fast asleep, except for [Y/N]. He was out in an open field not so far away from the house Team Avatar stayed in. He took out a scroll and studied it.

[Y/N]: Hmmm, maybe I should try the lava disc.

The lava disc was a disc made out of lava that could be shot at opponents and slice them, how nice. [Y/N] took his stance and bent a rock in the air to turn into lava. However, he was not able to turn the rock into lava like he used to.

[Y/N]: What's going on? Why can't I heat up the rock?

He kept trying but ultimately gave up. The sun was starting to rise and he had to get back to the house before the rest of Team Avatar woke up. He opened the door and realised that Katara and Sokka were already up.

[Y/N]: Oh crap.

Katara: [Y/N]? Why were you outside?

[Y/N]: Katara, why are you awake this early hmmm?

Katara: [Y/N], it's 9. And don't change the topic! Why were you outside?

[Y/N]: Uh well you see I...... I went to get food?

Sokka: Food?!

Katara: We have food at home.

[Y/N]: Oh well, I went to get... more food.

Katara: Oh yeah? Then where is the food.

[Y/N]: I dropped it on the way back...?

Sokka: Oh man, how could you!

Katara: [Y/N], you look like you didn't sleep. What did you do last night?

Toph: You know, you're a terrible liar.

[Y/N]: AH! When did, how did, weren't you still sleeping?

Toph: I was but you and Katara were being loud.

Aang: It's kind of true.

[Y/N]: You too?

Katara: Ahem. If you weren't sleeping then what were you doing last night?

[Y/N]: I went looking for Appa?

Toph: Still lying.

[Y/N]: Toph! I've never felt so betrayed!

Katara: [Y/N], stop lying, what happened last night.

[Y/N]: Ok fine, I was out practicing how to lava bend because I couldn't sleep, I keep having nightmares.

Katara: What nightmare did you have? You can always talk to us.

Aang: Yeah! Don't worry [Y/N], we'll help you stop those nightmares! Right Sokka?

Sokka: Hm? Sure, after I eat.

Katara gave Sokka a glare.

[Y/N]: Fine, I guess it's time to tell you.

Sokka: After I eat!

[Y/N]: After Sokka eats.
