All of Team Avatar were still sleeping, except Aang. He jumping up with airbending filled with excitement.
Aang: Today's the day! Can you believe it? After all that time searching for a teacher, I'm finally starting earthbending. And this place, it's perfect, don't you think? Sokka?
Sokka gives Aang a dirty look, you can't blame him, he just wants to sleep.
Aang: Oh, you're still sleeping huh?
Sokka grumbles gain before covering his face with the sleeping bag.
Aang: Sorry.
The ground shook, causing Aang to turn to look toward the source of the rumbling and sees an earth tent, the slabs are tossed in every direction. As the dust clears, Toph is standing in the middle with her left hand raised in the air.
Toph: Good morning earthbending student.
Aang: Good morning sifu Toph.
Katara: Hey, you never call me sifu Katara.
Aang: Well, if you think I should.
Sokka grumbles again because of all the noise team avatar is making.
Toph: Sorry snoozles, we'll do out earthbending as quietly as we can.
Toph's feet as she hits her heel into the ground, creating an earth pillar that rose up right underneath him, catapulting him into the air.
Sokka: Running around and making noises (inaudible) and Sokka just trying to sleep (inaudible).
Sokka starts hopping away from the team while grumbling at the same time.
Aang: After all that and [Y/N]'s still asleep.
[Y/N]: (snores)
Katara: I feel like Toph's gonna send [Y/N] flying just like she did with Sokka.
Toph: Hmmm, let him sleep.
Katara and Aang looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders.
Aang: So what move are you gonna teach me first? Rockalanche? The trembler? Oh, maybe I can make a whirlpool out of land!
Toph: Let's start with, move a rock.
Aang: (clapping his hands) sounds good, sounds good.

Toph: The key to earthbending is your stance. You've got to be steady and strong. Rock is a stubborn element, if you're going to move it, you've got to be a rock yourself.
Aang: Like a rock, got it.
Toph: Now the actual motion of this one is pretty simple.
She launched the rock into the canyon wall.
Toph: Ok, you ready to give it a try?
Aang: I'm ready.
Aang looks at the rock before trying to bend it. But instead he pushes himself back, crashing into [Y/N] before hitting into Appa.
[Y/N]: (wakes up) ow....Aang!
Sokka: Haha, rock beats airbender!
Aang: Oh, sorry [Y/N].
[Y/N]: What happened? What, were you trying to.....fly or something?
Aang: No.... I was actually learning earthbending from Toph. But I guess instead of moving the boulder I moved myself....
