In the life of a high school student, there is always they called first true friends, first separation to parents, and first love. The first feeling born to a young heart of a young man or woman . The adoration towards someone decorated of the colors of life that every person feel, but this feelings is mostly not take to long, but if you lucky enough it will be your forever. They say it was so called crush or a puppy love. Then here I am, nd the story of my first love.
"Hi my name is Neil gulf hernandez , I'm a medical doctor graduate with flying colors, in one of the best university in USA in Harvard university. Knowing that my family is the owner of will known hospital here in the country, my parents send me abroad for my medical studies. It is my first month being a doctor here in my own country.
But before of this I am a high school, a student like all professionals. I experience also the great first crush and fight all the obstacles to had my forever loved. The story of me and my crush is starting when I was in my last year of school year.
Young heart
"Gulf baby,,,, wake up you might got late at school, if your not jumping out of your bed in thirty minutes... Hurry up baby." my lovely mother, in her morning routine to wake me up every morning to bring me to school and fulfill her duty as a mother. Even she is busy as a doctor my mom always had a time for me and my dad to. I'm so proud and thankful of them.
" yes mom,, I'm getting up can I had my mom morning kisses,,,, " I'm pouting to get what I want to get her attention. Call me a attention seeker, I'm whole heartedly to accept it, because that is who really I.
"hmmm my baby, of course you can,,, your growing up man, but your still like my five years old boy,,," she said. "okay then go take your bath and I will send you to school before you get late." she added, she love me so much it is the reason why I'm always like a child to her and my dad. I'm like this when we are inside of our home, my mom act professionally when we are in outside, she doesn't want to embarrassed me with my friends too. My parents are coolest parents of the world. I'm so lucky to had such a wonderful parents and bestfriend in life.
"mom....." I called her after I feel the missing one of home.
"yes son." she answered me.
"dad is already home, I never heard his voice?" I ask her back.
"your dad got a emergency call last night there is a vehicular accident. It happened, that our hospital is lack of doctors for this moment, because some of our doctors is on the annual seminar for surgical and medicinal treatment. So your dad need to be there to support our surgical and medical team,.. I'm Supposedly to be with him but your dad insisted that I need to stay with you so your not alone when you wake up, because you don't know the urgency last night and you might get on panic if you didn't see one of us. " my mom explained to me, I felt sorry for dad and mom, but yet happy because I'm always their priority.
After the short bath and change my clothes I run down to get some food. I rushing back at my room to brush my teeth. Taking my things for school before my mom finished her usual routine in the morning after making my breakfast
I'm waiting in a few minutes at the living room for my mother. Before she comes down my phone is ringing. I hurry up to pick up the call after I saw the caller ID.
"hello dad, how are you? " I'm so happy upon seeing the call of my dad and hearing his voice.
"ohhh hi son, how was your night, and your mom.?" he ask, I know he is worried on me and mom.
"dad I'm fine and mom too. " I answer.
"good,,,, I'm not okay if I'm not seeing you guys in whole night you know how much I love you both of you." He said lovingly.
"dad I'm teenager now, I can protect mom from every harm too." I feel weak if my dad act this way....
"teenager? Nooo your still my baby. Stop acting like a adult." his teasing me more and more. Using his sweet words to me. They are more protective and become a better parents after what happened in the past.
While on the way to school. I ask my mom about of their schedule for work by next week.
"mom... You and dad is available next week,,? I ask her because I don't want to be a reason of their absence of work.
" son why? " she ask me while she is on the wheel.
"the last soccer tournament for my team for this school year is by next week." I answered her.
"ohhh.....wow that is great. And yes son we always available for you. " my parents is my number one fans,.
In the road I'm excited to see the juniors that I teach an tutoring because of their low grades on oral recitations and quiz. I always want to see the development of their studies. I teach them biology, English, math three major subjects that most of students are boring.
Except of my tutorials I had also a soccer game, I'm one of most valuable player of the team and this sports is my favorite sport. By next week it is my last game in high school. I don't know if I still had a chance to play in college. Because my parents want me to study back in US at Harvard university.
Now I'm here in front of my school.
"mom I'm going now, take care on driving mom, I love you." I said to her before I kiss good bye too.
