Jade's POV

Me: We should talk. Can we meet today?

I sent a text to Perrie and waited at my desk for her response.

"Why are you so quiet, Jade?" Leigh asked, drinking her iced coffee and looking at me. "Did things not go as you planned on date night?"

No, they did not. They went a hell of a lot better.

"I'm just thinking." I replied.

"About a certain blonde?" She asked. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Jade Thirlwall, is that a blush I see?"

"No, it's not." I replied, putting my hands on my cheeks that were sure enough hot.

"Yeah... sure." She smirked, looking back at her computer. "Was it good?"

"Was what good?" I asked, playing dumb.

Yes, it was. I haven't stopped thinking about it, and I can only shift in my seat so many times before I get Leigh's attention.

"You know what I'm talking about." She replied.

"No, I do not." I replied. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

My phone vibrated and I looked down at my text messages.

2813308004: Okay. What time?

I quickly texted back.

Me: I have a break in about an hour. Will you be home?

Her reply came just as quickly.

2813308004: I'll be here.

Me: Okay. See you in a bit.

"Setting up another booty-call?" Leigh whispered.

"Would you shut up. No, I'm not. I just want to talk to her for a second." I rolled my eyes.

"Mhmm." She chuckled.

I saw my next patient, and then there was a gap until my next patient. About 3 hours to be exact, so I decided to take a lunch break.

"I'll be back in about an hour. I'm taking a lunch break." I said, taking off my lab coat and hanging it on my chair.

"Have fun." She winked, and I rolled my eyes.

I got to Perrie's apartment in less than ten minutes, and knocked lightly on her door. It opened, but this time I wasn't snatched in.

"Hi, Jade. Come in." She said, standing behind the door and peeking around it.

I quickly shuffled inside and she closed the door behind me.

"Hi, Perrie." I smiled, turning to face her.

She gave me a smile as well. "Wanna sit?"

"Yeah, that'd be great." I replied, following her to the couch.

She looked comfortable and relaxed. Her hair was in a high ponytail, she was wearing a white tank top, and grey Nike sweatpants, and white socks. No makeup. Bare faced, and beautiful.

"You wanted to talk?" She asked, and I nodded. "Is this about the other night? I feel like I owe you an apology."

"An apology for what?" I furrowed my brows.

"Did we go too far?" She asked. "It wasn't my intention when I invited you over."

"What? No, it was fine. It wasn't you." I said and she nodded. "It was me who initiated it anyway."

"You're not upset about it?" She asked.

"No, of course not." I replied. "It was great."

"Sorry, I thought that was what you wanted to talk about." She said.
