The door swung open when my secretary Nika entered my office. She was holding a lot of papers, after she placed it above the table she gave me the telephone.
"Good afternoon Miss Esthrella, you have a call from your sister," she said. My brows knitted after she handed the telephone.
"Yes-"
"Yssa! Do you have schedule later? Wala kasing susundo kay Nate. May duty pa ako ngayon," sunod-sunod na bungad naman ng kapatid kong si Kira.
"Hmm..." tumingin naman ako kay Nika. She immediately pick up her iPad and check it.
"Please... Yssa! Hindi kasi pwede si Nara dahil may meeting daw siya mamaya." I felt her breathing on the other line. "Please, please... Nagmamadali rin kasi ako ngayon, eh may operation pa kami mamaya."
"Miss Esthrella, you don't have any meetings or schedule from 3-6 PM," Nika said. "Your next meeting is on 8PM."
"Yssa? Are you still there? Kung pwede isama mo na lang siya r'yan kasi wala rin siyang makakasama sa mansion," Kira said.
I nodded. "Oh sige Ki, ako na lang susundo kay Nate... Isasama ko na lang din siya rito sa Ystarlights after I fetch him."
"Thank you! Thank you! My sister! I love you!" halata palang sa boses niya ang pagmamadali. "Oh, sige na sige na! Mauuna na ako huh, thank you ulit Yssa!"
"Bye-" napatay naman agad ang tawag. Napangiwi naman ako habang ibinibigay ang telepono kay Nika.
"Why she didn't called me directly?" I asked.
"Ma'am, sabi niya po kanina nakapatay raw po ang phone niyo. Kaya hindi niya kayo matawagan," Nika answered. Kinuha ko naman ang phone ko sa drawer ng table ko at nakita na deadbat ito.
I sighed. "I forgot to charge my phone... Can you please plug in it there?" iniabot ko naman kay Nika ang phone ko at charger.
"Yes Ma'am..." kinuha niya agad ang phone at charger ko. "By the way po Ma'am... Nag-update na po 'yung company ng House of the Royals sa France, they sent us on our gmail account the pictures of fabrics and textiles that we're going to purchase."
"Okay, I'll check that later when I come back here," I replied.
"Sige po, Ma'am." Nagpaalam na si Nika sa akin at lumabas ng office.
We're actually preparing for Naraʼs wedding. I'm the one who designed her wedding gowns, bridesmaid gowns and all the attires on her wedding. I freely offers to take in charge to all of that even I'm busy here in Ystarlights. At kahit na marami rin kaming clients ngayon. Hindi ko palalagpasin ang espesyal na araw ng kapatid ko.
She deserve to become the most gorgeous bride on her wedding day. We also prepared a bridal shower for her. Si Jianett at Phanny ang organizer noon dahil alam nilang busy na ako. But they always give me an update about it. Iyong para kay Rux naman ay si David na ang kinausap ko. Baka kasi puro kalokohan lang ang gawin ni DJ sa kaniya.
