Boruto and Sasuke made their way out of the compound.

Both Naruto and Sarada were getting ready for their day out. Naruto was in the shower and Sarada was taking a nice bath. It was really fun to have your own personal bathroom in your room. They were taking too long so Sasuke and Boruto just said goodbye through the doors.

They slowly made their way to the forest of death.

"Hey, Dad why was Sakura such a bitch to Sarada? I know it's because she thought Sarada was keeping you away, but she couldn't have been that stupid, right?" Boruto asked.

He had asked his mom many times, but every time Sakura's name was mentioned Naruto would scowl. He really didn't like the woman.

"Sakura is a very easy woman to describe. She is strong, but only physically. She could use that strength to be a better ninja, but in reality, she is just not fit to be one. You see Boruto being a good ninja has nothing to do with just brute strength it is only a small fraction of being a ninja, but it has mostly to do with smarts. You need to be able to work out a strategy and if you only rely on brute strength you are done for. Now this brings us to your question. Sakura has gotten used to only one mindset, she is right and no one else can have a say in it, that she uses it in her daily life." Sasuke said.

"So she thought that her assumptions on why you weren't there the whole time were right," Boruto said.

"Yes. She has also gotten used to blaming others for her problems and the mindset of its not me it's them is permanent. Everyone is wrong and she is right. Everyone else is the problem and not her." Sasuke said.

"So you left most of the time to get away from her. That I understand, but why wouldn't you stay more than a month to be with Sarada?" Boruto asked.

"The longer I stayed the more she tried to pressure me into having another kid with her. I wasn't going to let that happen." Sasuke said.

"What are we going to do when Sakura comes after us?" Boruto asked.

"What makes you think she's gonna come after us?" Sasuke asked as they neared the gate of the forest. It was a large gate that made sure people didn't accidentally enter and get hurt.

"I've heard from Inojin who heard from Uncle Sai, who heard from Aunty Ino who said that when they had their girl's night out that Sakura had made threats to come after us. She was drunk when she said it, but what a drunk person says is a sober person's actual thoughts." Boruto said.

Sasuke unlocked the gate and both he and Boruto walked in.

"Hm well if she does come after us then I wouldn't have to worry much about it," Sasuke said locking the gate behind him.

"Why is that? You don't see her as a threat?" Boruto asked.

"I didn't say that. Sakura poses a threat to all of us one hundred percent. There is no doubt about that, but your mother scares me more than she does." Sasuke said.

Both he and Boruto walked into the forest taking in the scenery and looking at the exotic animals that were all around them.

"Why does mom scare you more than Sakura does?"

"Well, your mom is a very nice, kind, very loud, energetic, and caring person. He doesn't get angry easily, but when he does get angry it's scary. His hair raises up a bit and his smile gets replaced with a glare that would make Madara Uchiha himself quiver in fear. He gets real quiet too." Sasuke said.

"When mom saw the bruises on Sarada's arms his hair lifted. Is that why you were scared of him at that moment?" Boruto asked.

"Yeah. Your mom had gotten pretty pissed because of that. That's why I don't do things that would get him the least bit upset or worry him too much." Sasuke said.

Boruto nodded at that.

They sat down against a rock. Taking in the scenery. If you ignored the death part the forest was quite peaceful and very relaxing.

"You know you remind me a whole lot of your mom," Sasuke said.

"How so?"

"Well your looks are a dead giveaway, your need to show that you are stronger is something you get from both of us, but your personality it mirrors his from when he was you're age."

"What was mom like when he was a kid?" Boruto asked.

"Well, when he was younger he was so energetic. I still don't know where he got it from, must be a Uzumaki thing. He always had a smile on his face. He was also strong. For such a small person he could pack a punch. One that could rival Tsunade's. He always had a strategy when rushing into battle, didn't always look like it. He was and still is battle-smart, resilient, and just plain dangerous. It's why the Kage's of the other nations mind their steps when it comes to your mom." Sasuke said.

"Wow. So I was birthed by a badass." Boruto said.

Sasuke smiled, "Yeah, you were. You know your mom still is a badass. He just doesn't show it." Sasuke said.

Boruto knew that.

"So how are things going with your ninja training?" Sasuke asked.

"Oh, it's going great. I'm almost as strong as Oji Kanohamaru. He's teaching us a lot too. He even told Sarada that if she really wanted to she could go into medical jutsu." Boruto said.

"It seems like Kanohamaru is still following in your mother's footsteps. Encouraging people to realize their true potential and follow their paths to destiny and whatnot." Sasuke said.

"No way really?" Boruto asked.

"Yeah and did you know your mom was actually the one who trained him? It was a real nuisance at first," Sasuke said.

"Wait seriously?!" Boruto exclaimed.

"Yeah. Your mom and your Oji met when Naruto had just recently graduated from the academy. Your Oji came in and challenged the third Hokage, your mom's sorta grandfather. He tripped over his own scarf and said Naruto must have done it. He even threw out that he was the honorable grandson of the third Hokage. Called your mom stupid and got bonked in the head by your mom. Kanohamaru had asked Naruto to train him after that. He obviously did otherwise your Oji wouldn't be as skilled as he is today," Sasuke said.

"Oji actually did that? Tell everyone his grandfather was the third Hokage?" Boruto asked with a snicker.

"Yeah. It made him sad to use it though. People would just randomly start treating him like a King because they found out he was the Hokage's grandson. Made it hard for him to make actual friends who didn't have an ulterior motive." Sasuke said.

Boruto nodded understanding his Oji's pain.

"Yeah, I know what that feels like. Some kids in the academy tried to become my friends only to try and earn a title for themselves. It was a bit upsetting each time." Boruto said.

"Yeah, I know that feeling. Just don't feel sorry for yourself. It's their idiocy that made them lose out on such a valuable friend." Sasuke said.

Boruto smiled at his dad.

The rest of the day continued like this. They talked and talked and talked and they had the most fun they have ever had.
