You: You can either imagine yourself as a spectator reading the story, or Lilith. Lilith has green eyes, with long black hair. She has two pieces of hair in the front that are red, and additional red highlights throughout her hair. She's about 5'5. She has gauzed bandages around her waist, and a Black T-Shirt crop top. She wears converse style shoes, and a tight leather pants. You can picture her with any piercings!

There was ringing. It was muggy, and hazy, but the air was dry with debris and dirt. The war had finally ended, but at what cost? People were dead. Enforcers, who have shown little to no mercy for the undercity's people. The haze slowly fell, and so did Violet's knees. The enforcers killed mothers, fathers, brothers, daughters. Vander, the leader of the Lanes had practically adopted two little girls, Violet, and Powder. The children of the upper cities victims. Vander was also the owner of a bar, The Last Drop.

The girls had lived with Vander for about a year or so. Vi, is about 10 now and powder is 6.

They were sitting in their den when powder spoke, "Violet?" She said softly. "What is it Powder?" She said with her back turned, clearly focused on something else. "I want to go outside, can we go outside?" She said with her doll-like puppy eyes. Vi rolled her eyes and smiled warmly. "You know we can't if Vander isn't home, he should be coming home soo-" She gets cut off by the door slamming open.

He had a girl in his arms, her legs were dangling, weak, and so were her arms.

"Go get the med kit now Violet." He calmly, but sternly ordered. Violet ran upstairs. Vander set the dying girl on the table and began to check for her pulse. She was thin, unhealthy, bleeding out." Powder started crying "Who is that!? Is she gonna die??" Vander ignored her, for he didn't know if he could properly help.

Violet ran down. And sat down beside the girl. Vander popped open a bottle of vodka. "You're seriously drinking at a time like this??" Violet yelled. Vander poured the alcohol on the girls wounds and she inhaled sharply. "Good. She's still here."

He continued to treat her and make sure she's breathing. Powder sat by the table praying for her to be alive.

The girl opened her eyes slightly and looked over at Violet, she smiled a little and said, "Thank you." Then she repositioned her her body into a more comfortable position.

"She's alive!" Powder yelled trying to hug the laying girl.

"Get back, Powder, she's still in critical condition. She will need a few days rest, I will check in a few times a day, but Violet you will be taking care of her until she's able again." Violet, keeping her eyes on the girl, agreed. Vander left the room, in clear angst.

"Who do you think this is Violet?" Powder said. Violet stood up and said, "I'm heading to bed, and-don't mess with the girl." "I wasn't going to jeez." They both headed to bed.

The Girl (prior to the saving)

Everything was more dangerous since the war ended. Even more for the undercity. There was a family of three, walking through the lanes. A father, a mother and a little girl. A man, walked up behind the family, and pulled a gun. "Empty your pockets! Now!" He shouted at the parents, and before they could, and bullet was shot right in both of their heads. Now, for the little girl, a bullet, right in her stomach.

As the parents were on the ground, lifeless, the girl was down hoping to live.

The thief emptied the pockets of the people and didn't check to see if they were all dead.

The girl was filled with so much anger and rage but couldn't even let out a whimper. She pulled the strength to stand up, she ripped a piece of her fathers shirt, and tied it around her waist, limping to find help.

Everyone in the lanes shunned her and her faint cries for help, soon, she reached a corner and slowly fell down, feeling completely and utterly hopeless.

Her vision started to fade, as well as her hearing. As she could only see glimpses of light, a broad man approached her and picked her up. She was going to die soon, if only he hadn't saved her.

She claims what had saved her, was the first thing she saw, was a pretty face, but who knows. Possibly a miracle. The girl had obviously healed, and her name was Lilith. Now Lilith had a fiery personality. Always sneaking out in the middle of the night with Violet, getting lost somewhere, stealing something.
