Reunion

8 Years later.

One day, a new guy walked in. Slapped her right across her face. Lilith looked at him with a smile. He was scrawny. And his slap was weak.

He also had a dagger in his pocket, not to mention the keys which led out of the enclosure that kept her trapped for so many years.

Lilith manages her way out and gets her way into the undercity.

She's dirty. And surprisingly not afraid. But she was malnourished. Every step was a thorn in her side. In that moment she remembered what kept her going. What pushed her, and kept her going. Vi.

Vi was in an alley. She was stopped by a group of at least 10 men. Lilith was pushing herself to walk to The Last Drop, but was stopped by a glimpse of pink hair from the corner of her eye.

Lilith stopped in her tracks and peered over. With her head held high, Lilith started walking down the alley towards Vi when she saw multiple men in a position to attack.

A man ran up to Vi, and he attempted to swing on her, though she dodged it swiftly. Lilith ran up behind and stabbed one of the men with her dagger.

This immediately caught Vi's attention. Liliths black hair, with red streaks and her soft, but viscous eyes, it was clear who she was. Tears started gathering in Vi's eyes. While Vi was in a trance, Lilith went around basically killing the men in the alley.

One of the men tried to shoot Vi, but Lilith practically perfectly threw the dagger at his chest. She swiftly pulled the dagger out of the mans chest, she wiped the blood from her nose and her eyes met Vi's. They were inches apart. Lilith looked up at Vi in awe. Her piercing blue eyes told a thousand stories.

Lilith blinked tears away, and in shock, her mouth moved as if she wanted to say something, but couldn't find any words. "Lilly?" Vi said while she pulled in Lilith tightly. Lilith shook her head in disbelief and shut her eyes while in Vi's arms.

After was seemed like a dream, they slowly let go. Tears started to stream down Vi's face. "I-I thought I lost you forever." She moved her head away. "I thought you died, I-I didn't know who took you or when you went-I-" Lilith grabs Vi's hand and holds it close to her face. She inhales sharply. "I never stopped thinking about you, Vi.

The thought of getting back to you, kept me going." Vi cups Liliths face in her hands. "I missed you, Lilith." Vi wiped Liliths tears away. Vi pulls her in for another hug, in fear this was just a dream. Lilith smiles, then sharply inhales in pain. Lilith goes limp in Vi's arms, gripping onto her muscles.

"Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong Lilly?" Vi says lowering her head to Lilith. "I haven't eaten in a couple days." Lilith says weakly. "Come on Lillypad, let's go get some good." She pulls one arm over her shoulder and begins carrying her to their childhood, favorite meal spot. Vi sits her down on a chair and Liliths eyes light up as soon as she sees the bowl of orange coated fish.

She immediately begins shoving pieces into her mouth, groaning while throwing her head back. "Slow down there Lily. Can you even taste it?" Vi says playfully. "Ha ha." Lilith says rolling her eyes. Lilith licks the orange goop off her fingers.

Lilith looks over at Vi. Vi is staring with a slight smirk. "You wanting somin' Violet?" Lilith says jokingly flirting. Vi's face goes red, as she breaks eye contact. "So, Vi, where's Vander? i'm sure he's worried sick." Vi chokes on her drink. Lilith face drops. Vander..is well, isn't he?"

Lilith looks in Vi's eyes, for she could always tell when she is lying. "Lilly.." Vi reaches for her hand but Lilith pulls away. Lilith gets off the stool and backs up keeping eye contact with the ground. Her eyes flood with tears. Before they fall, lilith looks up at Vi. "He's.. dead. Isn't he?"

Lilith says while trying to maintain a strong front for Vi. Vi looks down, stating the truth without saying a word. Lilith nods in sadness, and slowly turns around.

"That means.. Mylo and Claggor-"She stops abruptly. "-Powder." Lilith turns around fast to face Vi. Vi thought for a second to try to explain what's going on with Powder, but the silence scared Lilith. "No..No, no, no , no. She can't be." Liliths face goes pale.

"It's not like that." Vi reassures Lilith. "She's technically alive, but not the same, I saw her yesterday- it was a shit show." Vi says while paying Jericho. Vi slaps the table and stands up off her seat. "Let's go Lilly, i'm sure Powder would love to see you."
