We see Ruby swinging up around in Vale, returning after a few weeks. She looks around and pulls her scroll out to call yang.
After a while she finally answers.
Yang: "Hello?"
Ruby: "Hey....Yang.." She says with her voice quivering a bit.
Yang: "RUBY! OH MY GOSH, ARE YOU OK? ARE YOU DOING WELL? AR-"
Ruby: "Yang, Yang, calm down. I'm doing fine, still wondering about things.."
Yang: "Oh..OK. hows...your...Spider-Work?"
Ruby: "It's alright, you know, you don't have to act all weird about it."
Yang: "I know, I know, it's just, that, it's hard to keep this a secret."
Ruby: "I know, it can be hard to keep it a secret bu-"
Suddenly she feels something inside her, telling her to get ready.
Ruby: "I'll have to call you back, Somethings come up."
Yang: "What-"
She hangs up and climbs to the top of the building.
Suddenly the building starts to collapse as mechanical arms starts to break through the building.
She jumps away onto the building beside it and watches as a middle aged man wearing a trench coat rises from the building.

???: "Another Spider? Perfect."
She says nothing as she crouches down, cautiously watching him.
???: "Where is Peter Parker, girl?"
Ruby: "Peter Parker? I don't know anyone named that!"
He stares her down as his arms slowly moved around him, grabbing one of the gargoyles from the building.
???: "You wanna play games?"
He throws the gargoyle at her at immense speed, giving her little time to move.
She quickly dodges and fires a web at the man, but his arms block them and pulls her in. She quickly flips and kicks him on his face and his gut, causing him to fall back.
His arms grow spikes in their center and attempts to strike her multiple times, she goes as fast as she can to deflect the arms.
She almost succeeds but one of them finally gets the upper hand and stabs her leg, causing her to delay her movements a bit.
He took this chance to quickly knock her down and repeatedly hit her around the walls. He binds her arms and legs and brings her closer to him.
???: "You're getting on my nerves..."
Ruby: "I have a knack for that!"
???: "Not anymore..."
His arms slowly press on her head, attempting to crush it. His arms slowly shook as he applied pressure. The spikes inside slowly started to come out as Ruby quickly tried to escape. She uses increases her power a small bit and kicks the arms out and jump around them.
Ruby: "Lets finish this..."
She jumps and uses her semblance to surround him, making him confused for a second. She then started to hit him multiple times until finally hitting him flat on the face, making him fall back and unconscious...
She jumps down and looks at him to make sure he's knocked out.
Her scroll rings and she picks it to see its Yang.
Ruby: "Sorry Yang, I had-"
Yang: "Uh Ruby, I need you to get here NOW!"
She hangs up immediately.
She webs the man up and uses her semblance to get speed up to swing to Beacon.

She burst through the door and looks around for Yang. Yang sees her and tries to speak before Ruby interrupted her.
Ruby: "Whats wrong?"
She says nothing and points to the door. She goes to the door and opens it. Her eyes widen as she sees a familar boy.
