"Hey there, we're back!" Called Paimon as the trip approached the Textile store.
Ogura owner of the store, quickly set down the roll of cloth she had been putting on a shelf, before turning around and waving to her returning customers
"Welcome back!" She said with a wide smile and a gentle wave "So, any luck at the International Trade Association? Did they have silk in stock?"
Ayaka revealed the fine fabric of silk and nodded her head
"Yes, fortunately, they did." She said approaching Ogura "Here" handing over the silk to Ogura.
"Excellent news!" Ogura exclaimed before stashing away the silk just below the counter
"I think everything else I need, I've got in the store already..." Ogura spoke to herself, eventually deciding to double check in case. "...I just need to go take stock of our materials- it won't take me a moment I'll be right back."
She wouldn't want to disappoint a customer. Especially when the customer is the Shirasagi Himegimi. A long time customer of the Textile shop AND a well respected Inazuman official.
Not only would Ogura want to uphold her business's trustworthiness and honor, she also didn't want to fail such a cared for customer.
She quickly walked from her position in the shop to outside and around the back, but during this time she didn't escape Paimon's...
... delicate choice of words
"They'd better be all there!" Paimon said with an almost annoyed edge, despite it warranting a quick glare from Aether
Another voice drawer Aether's attention, saving Paimon from another scolding about manners and politeness
Ayaka sighed "I do hope nothing else is missing."
Resource gathering had been something Aether had grown use to over time. As a self sufficient adventurer, he had no choice. Of course, Paimon never got used to any form of gathering resources, UNLESS it was food that Aether was collecting.
When that was the case, Paimon drooled enough to create ponds.
Aether was used to Paimon being annoyed about collecting non-food objects, so it was no suprise when she made a remark to Ogura.
At the same time he wasn't suprised by Ayaka's words either. If he hadn't spent so much time with her, Aether would have mistaken Ayaka's demeanor for laziness.
But he knew she has a tight schedule with probably a plethora of other matters to attend to. Because of that, she probably didn't have time to go looking for anything else Ogura needed for Ayaka's new kimono.
Aether also suspected, that Ayaka hoped that everything was there for another reason aside from Ayaka's schedule. If Ogura didn't have any other materials in stock, it would effect the women's commerce. Not a lot of her customer could supply their own resources, or so Aether imagined.
This would directly effect Inazuma's already plummeting economy and inevitably run Ogura out of business. That part not only effect Ogura, but the people of Inazuma.
And knowing how much Ayaka cares for the Inazumans, he wouldn't be suprised if those thoughts were among her mind.
"Traveler" Ayaka called to Aether, requesting his attention.
To which he quickly granted her, by looking at her and smiling.
She had found the courage of acting on another subject. But the way he looked at her sent tingles down her spine and heat to her cheeks.

FanfictionBasically a story where I put my own spin on what takes place in Inazuma. still the same story, but told in a different manner (with some extra splashes of originality). This story is slow, but with reason. I want to create a plot that is built off...
