(A/N: this chapter is A LOT of dialog. Even after watering down all the contents in the story quest, I couldn't avoid all of the talking that happens. It's important to Yoimiya's character AND the story quest. Sorry if that's an inconvenience."
For some reason the long chatting he had been trapped in, didn't bother Aether. He wasn't one to speak all the time or engage in long conversations; but it was different with Yoimiya.
He didn't mind her talking this much. It made the area feel so alive, so energetic.
She talked about books mostly. Ones she liked and how a large portion of books had "bad endings"
One book talked a land threatened by the ever-growing darkness that spawn from the abyss. It was a compelling and corrupting force that twisted and turned at every evil angle it could, turning men into monsters. Only could the fires created by man temporarily thwart the growing darkness, but not without sacrifice. In the book many legendary warriors fall and even the main character sacrifices himself to the first flame created by mankind, so it may continue to burn.
Yoimiya seemed to really like that one and the next two books that followed it in the series.
"The cool part was that he knew of his fate to burn with the flame, but he chose to not run from it. With help of the forseeing fire keeper he managed to allow humanity to live a little longer. Though with each sacrifice only do more manifestations of corruption form, like dragons and-"
Yoimiya's story telling came to a halt and she started to wave and jog towards someone.
"Hey, come back! Paimon wants to hear what's next!" Paimon complained
Aether chuckled at his fairy friend
"It can wait Paimon. Besides you didn't even understand the part where she mentioned people never truly die, they always come back, but more hallowed. The curse of the Dark Souls."
The fairy was left confused once again by the statement. For some odd reason the concept of being stuck in between a state of life and death bewildered her beyond imagination.
Aether had slowly walked to Yoimiya who was now standing before a man on the older side.
Aether wasn't one to assume, but the man shared resembling facial features to Yoimiya; but age rather than youth.
"Hey pops, I'm back!" Yoimiya said with an increased tone.
It was unclear why she chose to speak in a louder voice than needed, but perhaps it was excitement.
"The Fireworks Show is almost upon us, and the Fireworks for each family are almost ready." Said Yoimiya's father, Ryuunosuke Naganohara
He too, spoke loudly
He looked at Aether and Paimon, before folding his arms.
"Oh, New faces? Who are these two? Friends or customers?" Ryuunosuke asked
Yoimiya smiled back at her father
"A bit of both actually. They arrived in Inazuma just recently. Can't let them miss out on a firework show after coming all this way can we?" She turned her head and looked at her companions for assurance.
To which Aether eagerly nodded his head.
Her father laughed heartily, even placing a hand on his chest
"Well either way come and have a seat and I, Ryuunosuke Naganohara, will tell you about the long history of the Naganoharas."
Knowing the way elder people are, chatting can go on for ages... even more so considering that Yoimiya had to get her chatterbox personality from someone.

With and Without You (AetherxAyaka)
FanfictionBasically a story where I put my own spin on what takes place in Inazuma. still the same story, but told in a different manner (with some extra splashes of originality). This story is slow, but with reason. I want to create a plot that is built off...
