The world we know it as Earth have been attacked by mysterious invaders from another universe which we call Magi-Techs. Earth's military tried to fight back but their firepower was no match against these invaders as they were all too powerful to even handle. After these Magi-Techs invaded Earth twice a woman named Dr. Nayuta Hida created Hybrid Heart Gears (Or HHGs) to combat these Magi-Techs aa she tested these to her 2 sons, Kizuna Hida & his older twin brother, Kaneda Hida. These 2 looked the same but the only difference were that Kaneda's hair is white unlike his family & has grey colored eyes. He & his brothers have tested their HHGs as they were both failures as Dr. Nayuta Hida found succession on a girl named Aine Chidorgafuchi, or that's what they call her. Because of this she tossed aside her son Kizuna but not Kaneda as he was different, his HHG, called Uros can construct anything out of Solid Holograms but it was useless as not only the constructs were fragile but they couldn't be useful in battle nor can they last. But the only reason why Dr. Nayuta Hida liked Kaneda was his vast intellect as he has an IQ level of 270 as he was so smart that he can even surpass his mother's (Fun fact: Tony Stark's IQ Level is 270). He even created a generator that not only can give unlimited energy but could also power even a city or maybe even a country as this generator is what Kaneda calls an Arc Reactor. Hell, Kaneda is actually her favorite among her other son & her 1st daughter as Kaneda even revolutionized technology helping the people from Megafloats as he creates technology that advances the world & help people out. But even when Kaneda was loved by his mother he still cared for his twin brother as they're both have some things in common as they don't let their differences get to them as they not only act like brothers but besties aswell. Kaneda loved inventing & everything until his life was change forever. Not only he found out about the truth of HHG Cores but what his mother is planning as not only he overheard her but he also saw her as she isn't the type of mother he could trust anymore. Back in his lab he was raging for how dumb he was on believing that his mother could become a better person for Kizuna too & save the world but he was wrong. He was even lucky to get out uncaught as no 1 knows this but him. And so he did the 1 thing he needed to the next. It was a hard decision but he needed to do it. Meanwhile Kizuna begged his mother to not go but she then told him that he ain't useful anymore. As this goes an explosion happened as when everyone including Kizuna went to where the explosion happened they see that Kaneda's lab was on fire as now that it was stronger there was no way anyone could've gotten out alive as they then see a burning body to what look like Kaneda's as this broke Dr. Nayuta Hida's heart & made Kizuna cry as he lost his brother. Meanwhile somewhere far Kaneda was actually alive as he disguised himself by wearing glasses & putting hair gel as he makes his hair look straight down as all he needed to do ti fake his own death was to not only create a genetic clone of himself but have a mini arc reactor blow up in his lab as he disguised himself 1st before making the explosion. And so he was able to sneak into a stealth aircraft which he invented as he flies off into space without anyone detecting him as he flies into the moon. And so he pilots as he even thought of what he will do now right after apologizing to his family in his mind.

And as he said his apologies he then made it to the moon as he is about to land his craft into the moon's surface. When he entered the moon he can then see some kind of a big bunker door as it opened for him. He then landed his craft & leaves it as when he got to land he could some ho breathe & could walk properly with the gravity being as stable as Earth's as he did something that his mother never thought that he had done. Back when Earth was attacked by the 1st invasion he was actually busy in the moon building his own little base as he had to create a device that will drill its way to the moon's core as when it did it will then create a barrier around the moon which will not only let him breathe to the moon but to also keeo the gravity stable as he even created his own base/hideout as he never told anybody about this place. And he other reason why no 1 can detect his base is because the barrier also makes it look invisible to fool both scanners & people alike while the moon still looks visible. Now back to the story as when Kaneda arrived the lights turned on as he was greeted by a holographic woman.
>EDITH: Good afternoon boss, & welcome back.
It was his A.I. assistant, EDITH, as Kaneda & EDITH finally sees each other again as now Kaneda sits down but right before he pressed a button as he created multiple machines that can mine minerals in the moon as this was no ordinary moon but rather it was rich with 3 metals which he named: Carbonadium, Adamantium, & Vibranium as the mining process continues. Thanks to these material he was able to create & invent a lot including building his base which he calls Moon Base. And so Kaneda sits down as he also thinks of finding a way to remove his HHG Core without killing him as he only thought of 1 solution, an Arc Reactor. Even when he has the materials he still needed something to fuel it with more than enough power to let him live. But when he thinks of this he then heard an explosion outside of his door as he looks around the surveillance cameras as he sees a crashed small ship. He then rushed his way to the ship as when he arrived he saw a dying Alien as Kaneda gets him out of the ship. The alien's name was Rhomann Surr as he was dying but right before he gave Kaneda a mysterious ring & its battery & then passed away as Kaneda tries to wake it up (Or more like bring him to life) but nothing as Rhomann Surr is dead. Afterwards he buried Rhomann Surr & had the ship inside his Moon as he then had EDITH scan both the ring & its battery. This was a Phantom Lantern Ring & Battery as she told him the good news.

And so this gave Kaneda a bright idea as now he is ready to try something out. And so he rushed back inside as he starts building a miniaturized Arc Reactor. But this 1 was different as he also converted both the ring & its battery as it actually worked. And so he did the finishing touch as when he turned it into an Arc Reactor it started to glow from Grey to Green as it was a success. And soon afterwards he laid down to what looks like a bed as he this bed started performing surgery as he needed to be awake.
>Kaneda Hida: This is gonna hurt.
And so the machine started performing surgery as he could feel his body was in pain as he even groaned in pain as it was all too much for him to handle but luckily he had the tenacity & endurance to continue as the final touch happens. Both Robotic Surgeon Hands grabbed the Arc Reactor as some grabbed his HHG Core. And so they pulled it out slowly as they then put the Arc Reactor into his chest as this shit I so painful but he survived as when the Arc Reactor was finally on & after he was all patched up he could taste something as the Arc Reactor starts to glow. After the surgery he was alive as he was then happy that he made it. To help himself heal even more he injected himself with a serum which he calls Extremis as now he felt something after injecting it as he then learned that can not only heal faster, jump higher, run faster, & hit harder but he was now able to control technology with his own mind. Not only that but EDITH then told him about his new power as when he did he constructed robots as they were not only more durable but were way better even when they're only in 1 color as it depends on his emotions. And so he had his former HHG Core locked in a vault as now he may not have an HHG but has something else as he can finally achieve more in the future as he wants to go on a test drive aswell.
