Chapter 3: From Zeroes To Heroes

And as Kaneda returned he suit then disappeared as he then sees Rhodey walking around amaze at the Moon Base as Kaneda then talked to Rhodey.

>Kaneda Hida:
You like it?

And then Rhodey was startled as he was then relief that it was only him.

>Joseph Rhodes:
(Startled) Huah! (And then calms down) Oh, it's just you man.

>Kaneda Hida:
Sorry about that. (Then shows his hands) Also, my names Kaneda, Kaneda Hida.

And so they've both shook hands as Kaneda & EDITH gives Rhodey a tour as this is his 1st time seeing the Moon Base as they explained everything that he's seeing as they all look so impressive & amazing it was like he was inside of what a building would look like in the future as they then stopped at what seems like the living room as they both sat down & chat. Kaneda then asked Rhodey questions to how & why he got into this situation as Rhodey then tells him everything about him. Back then he & his family were happy as his father was in the military serving the country. Until the day Magi-Techs 1st arrived as when the battle was over his father was no where to be seen until he & his mother heard that he was dead. This traumatized Rhodey a little as he heard his father's death. His father was a good man & an excellent soldier as he even inspired his son to join the military someday as Rhodey wants to be like his father. His father thinks that if Rhodey could work even harder then he might even surpass him in the future. When the 2nd invasion arrived he & his mother tried to get back to where everyone were evacuating until an explosion split them apart as Rhodey was separated from his mother as his mother was then killed by what looks like a 3 Headed Hydra as he now has no family & nobody could see him anywhere as he was now on his own with no 1 helping him. He had to survive as he even killed some animals. He even vowed revenge for both his mother & his father as his father's death was said to be him being shot by a laser saving another soldier's life. Rhodey could've died until the day he met Iron Man as he saved him & he owes him for that. Kaneda then told Rhodey his story as he told them everything, I mean everything.

>Joseph Rhodes:
What a monster, your 1000 times mother's worst than my mother!

>Kaneda Hida:
I know right?! I even wished that me & my "Mother" were never related!

And so this is where they both laughed as everyone would wish that. Kaneda even told Rhodey that he wishes his mother was also Rhodey's but hey these 2 started telling each other that instead of them being friends then why not brothers. They both agreed as now they've become brothers (Unrelated but still). Sure Kaneda mentioned Kizuna but Rhodey understood of why Kaneda left as Kaneda promises to come back for his siblings once the time is right. Later on they changed the subject as they remembered about Rhodey's father as Rhodey wants to become a soldier. And Kaneda knows how to make his dream come true & avenge his family. And so they both went into Kaneda's workshop as Kaneda works on something that would help Rhodey out. And so Kaneda started working as he 1st drew both the design & the schematics as he used his materials to create the 1 thing needed to help Rhodey. It took him days as to what his master piece would be as he even worked hard for it. He even told Rhodey not to come into his workshop as it will be a secret. Meanwhile EDITH keeps Rhodey company as they started training boxing & some military style martial arts for as Rhodey is facing off a robot that can do every single martial arts known to man. And so they trained & trained as he worked so hard he was starting to get even better as he learned all military style martial arts, especially Boxing & Krav Maga as he is also being coached by EDITH. As days goes by Kaneda was finally done as he shows Rhodey something that he might like. And so Rhodey follows him to the workshop as he sees what would look like a human sized capsule as it was something big. And so Kaneda revealed his new master piece as this is perfect for someone as Rhodey's as he always hoped into becoming a soldier & join the Air Force as now he can be.
