Chapter 34: Rogue Goddess' Rescue

Suddenly, a familiar voice snaps Reiri back to reality & to everyone's (including Thanatos & Iron Man) astonishment, that voice belongs to Odin who opts to help them as her means in fulfilling her promise. Thanatos then shot Odin with her blast though it is deflected by Odin's Gungnir. While she is "impressed" by Odin's Gungnir, she warns Odin that she is no match against her due to her & her world's fragile state. Odin however retorts that she will not let Thanatos to have her way & even Thanatos asks her to whom she made her promise, Odin only smiles and not reveal any word. And then both Odin & Iron Man fought Thanatos as Odin started slashing Thanatos as Thanatos dodges until Iron Man (While heavily injured but thanks to his Armour's nanotech it repaired the Armour & thanks to his Phantom Lantern powers he regenerated) was able to do a bear hug & then started electrocuting her.

>Iron Man:
This is for my brother! (And then starts electrocuting Thanatos).

Thanatos tries to retaliate as Iron Man's grip was so strong that she wasn't able to. Until Iron Man then stopped & threw Thanatos to Odin & then Odin uses her Gungnir as a bat as she sent her flying into a wall. And then Thanatos reemerges from the debris as Odin then asks everyone about Kizuna's condition but before anybody can even answer her, Osiris arrives & uses her light to surround both Aine & Kizuna, much to Yurishia's surprise. Osiris then checks on Kizuna and finds that his soul is still lost, leaving Odin & Iron Man to cover Osiris while fighting against Thanatos at the same time. And so the fight gets intensed as Iron Man & Odin started attacking Thanatos but Iron Man was still filled with rage as he starts shooting at Thanatos which she blocked but only most of it. And then Odin uses her Gungnir to slash at Thanatos as both her & Thanatos traded slashes. And then Odin backs away as Thanatos then notices something on top but was too late as it looked like a big ass pillar as War Machine was lifting it & crashes it on top of Thanatos. After that War Machine lands to where Odin & Iron Man are as Odin told him to cover Osiris & help both Aine & Kizuna as he nods & flies to both of them. And then the fight continues as Iron Man & Odin kept on fighting Thanatos as they flew & kept charging at each other they've all flew so high that they were all lights hitting each other & back as Iron Man & Odin then got a backup from both Nayuta & Hokuto.

>Thanatos:
I see, so all of you have betrayed me to join forces with a mortal.

>Nayuta:
At least it's better than having you in control & destroy the multiverse.

And so all 4 of them flew to Thanatos as it was a 4 vs 1 battle. And so Odin & Hokuto started trading slashes with Thanatos as they all either dodge or block them while Nayuta & Iron Man are focused on range as they both fired their range weapons at Thanatos as some that hit Thanatos was a critical 1 but Thanatos was still regenerating from all of their attacks. The fight goes on as Odin & Hokuto got their weapons broken as Thanatos landed a powerful slash on their weapons also causing their Armours to break. And then Nayuta was able to help them out as she not only fired multiple projectiles to get Thanatos' attention but she then created a sword as they've both traded slashes as Nayuta kept on blocking but the problem was is that Thanatos' Sword was more powerful than Nayuta's easily breaking & overpowering it. And then suddenly Iron Man was able to land a punch on Thanatos' stomach & then he started her multiple times on both of her stomach & face. As Thanatos takes all of these punches she was then able to catch 1 then landed her own punch at Iron Man's stomach which sent him flying. Luckily for Iron Man he was able to stop & got his balance back.

>Thanatos:
It's pointless Iron Man, you will never win for as I'am a God of your worlds--

>Iron Man:
Jeez, can you shut the fuck up already I mean I've already heard so many godly beings saying that to me! Can't you villains ever learn?!

And then both Thanatos & Iron Man charges at 1 another as when they finally got closer Iron Man then grabbed Thanatos' face & continuously slams her face on the ground while flying forward & then he throws Thanatos back in the air. And so Thanatos was able to stop by hovering in the air until she saw Iron Man leaning forward at a 30° Angle as she sees Iron Man's Tri-Cannons charged up & ready to fire.

>Iron Man:
Here comes the big 1! (Fires his Tri-Cannons at Thanatos).

And then suddenly Thanatos was met by 3 big repulsor beams as she blocks it with her sword but only for a short time as her sword gave in & shot Thanatos as she could feel the pain. After firing the beams Iron Man then finally calms down until when the smoke clears it reveals Thanatos alive but is regenerating slow due to the power that was shot at her. And then Thanatos told Iron Man 1 thing.

>Thanatos:
You're a mortal. but yet you've hurt me, how is that even possible?

>Iron Man:
Because I'am no man... I'am Iron Man! And I don't care what kind of power you possess as no matter how powerful you are I will always be there to stop you!

And then Thanatos suddenly disappears as Iron Man could tell that it was her saying "You may have won but I will return to finish the job" kind of thing. Later after that Iron Man then gets everyone out of Thanatos' temple & everyone got back to Ataraxia. Everyone then wonders of what they should do as everyone were in tears as Kizuna Hida is dead. Until... Kaneda thought of something as he remembered 1 thing he could do to help but it would mean revealing Moon Base. And so he told Rhodey & he too agreed as they had no other choice. So they told everyone to give them Kizuna & follow them to 1 place they've never seen before, The Moon Base.
