Chapter 19: Project Babel

Now that peace was brought Kaneda & the others then focuses on 1 more thing, rebuilding Genesis as everyone will need all the help they can get as they will need to rebuild it fast before The Machine Gods will arrive & destroy it.

>Kaneda Hida:
Alright then, I will need volunteers to help out.

And so everyone raised their hands as everyone will then start to help out. Elsewhere, Ataraxia makes a hill of Genesis' debris as their impromptu countermeasure headquarters for their research via their cooperation with Landred (the Queen of Baldein), who is seen confirming one lithograph as part of Genesis' fragment. After talking with Landred, Reiri then visits Kei about the her research while receiving a document about Nayuta's research named Project Babel, which Kei fearfully explains about Nayuta's hidden objective despite her failure in achieving Godhood due to her odd condition. As Reiri claims that her mother was already dead (Because nobody actually saw her body when Iron Man's Godbuster Armor fired its Tri-Cannons), Kei however asks Reiri if Nayuta's truly dead but Reiri refutes it as she think that her death is the only way to save them all & the ceremony must go on before leaving the Projection System to Kei. In spite her fear, Kei complies and leaving the tent for her next research. While Reiri is still bothered by Project Babel, Landred enters into the tent & ensures her that its only a legend. Nevertheless, Reiri reports to Landred that the preparation for the ceremony is completed and she need her advice and aid for the ceremony which the Queen complies. Meanwhile Iron Man & War Machine on the other hand are helping Vatlantis alongside Aine & Kizuna as they all started getting all the help they can get as Aldea & Valdy were using their space manipulation as they carry some things for them (With help from Mark 38 Igor Armor). Ragrus, Silvia, & The Hulkbuster on the other hand are doing the best they can aswell while Striker & Omega does construction with their Jackhammer Arms. And hours have passed Genesis was then finally rebuilt, modified, & repaired as Kizuna did the finishing touches as he finally powered it up. And so everyone were happy as Genesis is now fixed.

>Kizuna Hida:
(Happy) Kaneda we did it. Not only peace is brought to our world & theirs but we finally fixed Genesis.

>Iron Man:
(Has a bad feeling) You might wanna celebrate later, because I have a feeling that this isn't over yet.

And then suddenly, Aine, Kizuna & Iron Man feels a familiar earthquake that the former assume it as another "Another Universe Conflict," prompting the duo to go outside. To Aine & Kizuna's surprise however as they see an Entrance is appearing from the skies and four floating silhouettes descend from the new Entrance and looking at Aine, Kizuna, & Iron Man. As both Aine & Kizuna equipping their Heart Hybrid Gear while Iron Man then changes from his Silver Centurion Armor into his Godbuster Armor as the trio hear voices from Reiri who urges them to be on guard despite not knowing the strange phenomenal. But for Iron Man, he already knows as Odin told him back then that "they" would arrive but never knew when. Upon confronting the descending silhouettes, Kizuna asks them about their identity but, rather than answering their question, one goddess whose name Thanatos appears and commenting the "change of events" that are beyond their expectations but planning on erasing Vatlantis since it has "served its purpose." This grim revelation shocks both Aine & Kizuna as the former further demand their motives, to which Thanatos introducing herself-along with her 3 comrades as the Machine Gods.

>Iron Man:
So, you 4 have finally showed up to come here & destroy everything if I'm saying it correctly?

>Thanatos:
You are quite correct even for a mortal.

>Kizuna Hida:
Then why do you wanna destroy everything? What does this change have to do with us?

Thanatos' fellow God tells her about Iron Man whom she viewed as a "culprit" behind that change, Thanatos views this sudden change as "unacceptable" & she plans to erase Vatlantis & start anew. Kizuna talks them out for their intentions to which Thanatos replies that they as "Creators be will going to "rectify" by eliminating the "failed experimentation", much to Kizuna's shock as he realizes that they're also Genesis' inventor. Still, Kizuna & Iron Man refuses to let Deus Ex Machina eradicate Vatlantis as the 2 brothers charged at them until Iron Man then flew somewhere else as he sees Thanatos raises her palm and aims at Zeltis instead. But luckily Iron Man took the shot as both Kizuna & Aine are horrified to witness such power sending Iron Man flying right into Zeltis causing him to crash land into a wall as the wall then started falling to him covering him up in rubble. Enraged to see the destruction of Zeltis & Iron Man being buried in rubble after being shot, Aine attacks Thanatos with her Code Breaker, followed by Kizuna. Thanatos, however, claims their efforts are futile as she not only easily nullifies Aine's Code Breaker, but also blocks Kizuna's punch and even trapping him at the Genesis with the force that shatters Eros. Even after Aine frees him later, Kizuna urges her to warn everyone about the dangerous foe only for them to witness Genesis' destruction by Thanatos and it's debris crushes Zeltis; causing Aine mourn aloud while Kizuna lamenting their inability to save both Earth & Vatlantis before passing out. But right before Thanatos could leave Iron Man then re-emerged from the rubble as he was able to quickly land a powerful punch on Thanatos which succeeded as Iron Man was now angry as fuck.

>Iron Man:
(Hovering while angry) So, you think you can just show up unannounced & destroy Genesis again!? Well you're wrong, you may have destroyed it but that doesn't mean you're not gonna pay for everything you've done!

>Thanatos:
And what can you do mortal?

And so Thanatos & Iron Man started fighting as Aine witnesses the power of Godbuster Armor once more while she carries Kizuna back to Reiri. Vatlantians were evacuating with Aine as Iron Man & Thanatos started trading slashes as everytime Iron Man fires Thanatos just cancels his repulsor rays. So he turned both of his armor's arms into blades as Thanatos & Iron Man started trading blows. Meanwhile War Machine & Iron Man's Armors (Alongside the drones) carried pieces of Genesis as after that they grabbed everything & then evacuated with the others. Meanwhile The other 3 Machine Gods didn't interfere as they think that they shouldn't ruin Thanatos' fun. And so Iron Man & Thanatos were on equal grounds until Iron Man was able to get an opening as he then starts overpowering Thanatos through rage as he then started fighting like a savage. And then he noticed that everyone evacuated as he never really planned on killing Thanatos (Yet) because he was only buying enough time as he too successfully evacuated with the others.
