i ran back to the elevator and pressed floor 4, no i'm not going to yasmine's dorm, i'm going to my cousin's, she's the only one i really like nowadays, back in the day i wanted to murder her though.

tears were forming their way into my eyes so i quickly and harshly wiped my eyes as i went to knock on her door waiting for her to answer, she even told me herself, she's ALWAYS here.

the door opened and there she was looking at me confused obviously noticing i had been crying she rushed me in to comfort me 

i cried in her shoulder, explaining everything that had happened and i didn't make any sense, it sounded like i was speaking gibberish

"okay okay wait slow down, start from the beginning because i can't understand a single word you're saying right now honestly"

"well.. i went to go meet my dormmate and i knocked on her door to see who it was and the door opened and it was kenadee, i couldn't fully figure out it was her when she first opened the door because she looks different-"

"different ? different how ?" i slightly scrunched my face up at the way that's the only thing she noticed when i told her that but i still answered her question

"different as in not the teenager with the braces and big ass glasses different nigga ."

i heard her stifle a laugh and looked at her like she was crazy, i liked that about Kenadee, why she laughing ?

she cleared her throat and continued talking

"you know what i think you should do ?"

"hm ?" i responded while also responding to the group chat full of my "friends"

"go back-"

"no" i immediately stated not trynna hear anything else she has to say

"nigga let me finish, go back to the damn dorm, lock yourself in your room with all your stuff, decorate your room and avoid her at all costs after that"

how ... HOW am i supposed to avoid her when she looks like that ??  is what i really wanted to say

"okay .." is what I actually said

i stood up and left her room after saying bye and thanking her for calming me down i rode the elevator to my floor and took a deep breath before stepping out

i put my ear against the door to hear if she's in the main room, i didn't hear anything in the main room informing me that she wasn't in there and she was in her room

good

i unlocked the door again and opened the door immediately running to my room and locking the door behind me, i almost busted my ass because the floor is wood and i was wearing slides but we cool

i breathed out and looked around my room seeing all the sealed up boxes one was named "bed" so i started on that first and it went on from there

After Decorating

i grabbed my laptop and went to youtube, pressing on bailey sarian's "murder, mystery & makeup mondays" playlist

while opening my mini fridge door i noticed i had no snacks, at all, why the fuck did i set the shit up if i knew i didn't have anything to fill it up with ? i don't know

i slammed it back shut and got up while grabbing my keys to my dorm i opened my door and to my surprise her room door was open and she wasn't in there , i didn't hear her leave while decorating- oh well 

when i was leaving the dorm room i heard a bundle of chatter coming from some people and when i looked over i saw Kenadee in the middle of both of them 

i turned around and quickly walked to the stairs side of the hallway hearing Kenadee calling out to me get lower and lower as i made it in the stairwell

there was this grocery store me and my parents drove past on the way to the college, i stood there and thought for a second 'i'm really doing this for a 30-50 minute video about a serial killer i could read about on wikipedia.. yes'

i walked to the grocery store but once i got there my inner thighs were hurting 

(i'm not gonna explain what the hell she did in the gyatdamn grocery store)

i then paid for everything i picked up i also got some magnets and a snack bin that both cost 5 dollars and it came up to 60 dollars i was on the phone with one of my childhood bestfriends, whilst in there that bitch told me to buy an airfryer, like..? no i only have $140 to my name now only 80 dollars after the purchase just now

also to be honest this staying away from Kenadee shit is annoying i'm acting like she used to beat on me, she ain't never do that 

i'll just simply ignore her it's not that hard i do it alot to others

once i got back to the dorm all i heard was music and chatter coming from her room, i rolled my eyes while walking into my room to put everything on and in my mini fridge

after doing all of that i jumped back into my bed and rubbed my feet against the sheets to get them warm 

i pressed play on my computer and opened my capri-sun that was next to me

i accidentally ended up falling asleep on the video so once i woke up my computer was dead and it was nightime

there was a knock at my door, knowing it was Kenadee i stayed quiet to see if she'd go away

she didn't

"xemena open the damn door, i know you're in here"

i came up with a semi-stupid idea but... it's not stupid if it works

i snatched a piece of notebook paper out of my compisition notebook and wrote on the paper "what do you want?"

now.. i know i could have simply talked to her but i didn't want to fully break my ignoring her statistic

i'm guessing she looked at it because i heard her suck her teeth, then i heard the crumpling of the paper soon after that

i silently gasped at her, she then finally decided to actually answer me, not with the paper though

"i need like 5 dollars can you lend it to me ?"

"you that broke you need $5 dollars ?"

"bi- i'm not broke"

"obviously you are if you wanna borrow $5 dollars from somebody who don't like you"

"nigga do you have it or not ?"

i slowly slid the $5 under the door with a sticky note that said "brokey"

now.. i know i already broke my "ignore kenadee strategy" but from now on i will ignore her, forreal this time
