"well damn how much work they got you doing over there meme?" my childhood bestfriend adrianna asked almost choking on her snack.
"adri, i only have like three assignments and two of em are discussion posts, and bitch are you good????" i looked back at my screen since i was doing something else while talking to her
"okay we-" my phone began to ring cutting adri off mid sentence, it was kyara, yasmine, and rylen.
i was supposed to be distancing myself from them but i realized i really don't know how to make friends like that and they're the only ones i know that go here besides... kenadee..
"oh! hold on adri i'm gonna be right back just give me one second, okay?" i rushed out before answering the phone and only seeing kyara's camera on with all three of them there
"xemenaaaaa~ we want you to come out here with uss!" yasmine yelled in the back, making kyara and rylen flinch
"where are y'all even at???" i questioned them trying to look into their background to see if i knew the people there or not, and so far i wasn't recognizing any faces..
"oh just this little kickback at rylen's place, it's mostly family but you can bring friends.. if you have any available" kyara spoke up, that last line making yasmine giggle in the background making sure her face wasn't in the camera, not like i couldn't hear her either way..?
i stare at the camera then looking up and around my room locking eyes with my laptop thinking about the three assignments i had to do, or going to a little party where there clearly was drinks being served.. go to the party, them assignments will get done later
"yeah i'll pull up, i have a friend to bring, send the address and i'll see you guys there" kyara widely smiled at me putting her hand on her chest as if she was touched.
"awwe yayy!! guyss she said she's cominggg!" she quickly hung up on me and i picked my phone back up dialing adri's number again waiting for my phone to finish ringing
"yellow?" adri answered
"you wanna go to a lil party?" i fixed my hair in my vanity while digging through my drawers to find my 'all purpose dress' it was short and cheetah print and i went into my closet to find a pair of heels to go with it.
"well shit is it a party or is it a club??" i laughed loudly at her response to seeing what i was picking out and i grabbed my leather jacket just in case it was too cold to only wear the dress
