Naruto rose from his slumber feeling a dull ache in his right arm that cut through the numbness and as he struggled to blink away the remnants of sleep, he reached for his phone on the nightstand to check the time. The digital clock displayed 7 am, and he let out a sigh as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, preparing for the day ahead.

Shuffling through his closet, the blond selected a comfortable hoodie and a pair of shorts and swiftly changed into his attire before proceeding to brush his teeth, ensuring a fresh start to the morning.

Over a month ago, Naruto had made a commitment to adopt a healthier lifestyle, and part of that routine involved taking a morning walk along the beach.

Living in close proximity to the serene coastline of Konoha had its advantages, and Naruto found solace in the tranquility it offered.

Konoha was a small community nestled in a secluded spot, resulting in a quiet atmosphere throughout the year. However, the summer season brought an influx of tourists to the renowned Konoha beach, a place that had earned its reputation as one of the world's top twenty most beautiful beaches, according to a local newspaper Naruto had read.

With this knowledge in mind, he set off on his walk, the gentle breeze caressing his whiskered cheeks, adding to the serenity of the early morning. As he strolled along the sandy shore, Naruto noticed the distant silhouettes of a few dedicated fishermen, their figures punctuating the vastness of the coastline. The cool sand seeped between his toes, creating a tactile connection with the beach as he immersed himself in the beauty of the sunrise over the ocean.

The golden hues of the sky merging with the azure waters painted a breathtaking masterpiece, captivating Naruto's thoughts. The sunrise over the ocean is truly one of the most beautiful wonders of nature, Naruto thought to himself.

Yet, amidst the peaceful surroundings, the previous night's events resurfaced in his mind and a tinge of guilt washed over him. He hadn't had the chance to explain his sudden departure to Sasuke, leaving him without closure. Shortly after Sasuke had excused himself, Naruto's father had called, demanding to know where he had disappeared to, oblivious to his clubbing plans. Fearing further consequences, Naruto had made the decision to leave promptly.

While his usual worry would revolve around the impending lecture from Iruka, the Uzumaki found himself preoccupied with thoughts of Sasuke. Memories of their shared moments, their intense eye contact, and the unspoken connection between them made his heart swell with warmth. Sasuke had captivated him entirely and his unique beauty had left an indelible impression on Naruto's soul.

He reminisced about Sasuke's untamed black hair, reminiscent of a duck's butt and the striking contrast it created against his delicate features and chiseled jawline. The memory of Sasuke's creamy pale skin and the taste of it lingering on Naruto's lips ignited a craving for more of that sweet sensation.

But it was his eyes that enchanted Naruto the most.

In the dim lighting of the club, he had noticed their profound darkness, an obsidian hue that merged seamlessly, erasing any distinction between iris and pupil. The rarity of such eyes fascinated Naruto, leaving him in awe.

Just as he was about to turn and head back home, his attention was drawn to a figure huddled on the sand, their form obscured by a black hoodie and a surge of concern washed over him, compelling him to approach the person. Sitting down beside them, he noticed the individual resting their cheek on their knees, their body trembling ever so slightly. Naruto's empathetic nature urged him to reach out, offering a comforting presence to someone in need.

Swallowing the lump in his throat, Naruto asked in a worried tone, "Hey, are you okay? You're shaking, are you cold or something?" The person flinched slightly but remained silent. The blond didn't push for an answer but decided to stay by their side, providing a silent presence of support. After a few minutes, the person rose to their feet and began walking away, but Naruto managed to catch their wrist in time. The touch made the other individual shiver, and they slowly turned around to look down at where Naruto was sitting.
