Hi guys how has your week been? This week has honestly been chaotic for me but I still managed to post (a little late but it's here).

I can't promise a chapter next week because I will be studying for my driver's license written test but I'll try writing during the week and post in time.

Also, Happy birthday to Sasuke, our favorite gay boy :)

After their emotional reunion, Naruto led Sasuke to his car, insisting on carrying both his backpack and suitcase. Sasuke wasn't in the mood to argue, so he let him have his way.

"Naru, come on—let me carry something!" He said, reaching for the bouquet of dahlias as they walked through the parking lot. But Naruto quickly switched the flowers to his other hand and took Sasuke's hand instead.

"How about you just carry me? Sound fair?" The blond grinned, and Sasuke rolled his eyes with a smirk.

Once they reached the car, Naruto loaded everything into the trunk, hopped into the driver's seat, and started the drive home.

"I think the closest McDonald's is about thirty minutes from here." Naruto mentioned, glancing over at Sasuke before focusing back on the road. "But I knew you'd be hungry, so I brought you those tomato chips you like. They're in the back seat." He pointed his thumb over his shoulder, and his boyfriend turned to grab the bag. After hardly eating the day before, he was starving, and the smell made his stomach rumble again, though quietly this time.

.Just as he was about to reach in for a handful, Sasuke hesitated, turning the bag over to check the nutritional information. Seeing the calorie count, he sighed, rolling the bag closed and setting it aside.

Naruto frowned as he watched Sasuke set the chips aside—something he'd never seen him do. Sasuke had always been lean, and perfectly fit, so why was he suddenly so focused on calories? And when he looked closely, he noticed that the Uchiha really did look a bit thinner than before. Did someone say something to make him feel self-conscious?

Naruto wanted to ask him directly, but he knew it was a sensitive topic and wasn't sure how to bring it up. He worried the other one might take it the wrong way. It wasn't about what Sasuke ate or how he looked—Naruto just wanted him to be healthy and, of course, to eat enough.

Early in their relationship, the blond had noticed he didn't eat much, but instead of confronting him directly, he'd taken a more subtle approach. He started inviting Sasuke out to eat more often or offering snacks whenever they were at his place. Over time, it seemed to work, and he began eating more regularly, which had brought Naruto so much relief.

But this time felt different. Sasuke seemed even thinner than when they'd first met. How could he have lost this much weight in just two weeks?

"You're not gonna eat, babe?" Naruto asked, his tone casual, but he was watching Sasuke carefully out of the corner of his eye.

"I'll wait until we get to McDonald's." The Uchiha replied, though he avoided the other's piercing gaze. He was craving a burger but had already decided he'd stick to a salad once they got there.

Naruto nodded and continued driving. They made small talk about random things for a while before slipping into a comfortable silence. Not completely silent, though—Naruto was humming a cheerful tune since his radio had been acting up lately.

"What are you humming?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, just a love song I wrote." The raven's eyebrows creased.
