The next morning, Sasuke woke up to the gentle touch of sunlight filtering through his blinds and caressing his ivory skin. He rubbed the heels of his hands against his eyes, rousing himself from sleep and feeling a surge of contentment and he sat up on the bed, the coldness of the floor sent a pleasant shiver through his body when his warm feet made contact with it.

Running his fingers over the bracelet Naruto had given him, Sasuke couldn't help but smile giddily as the memories of the previous night flooded his mind. They had spent hours wrapped in each other's arms, reluctant to part ways. Naruto had even offered to accompany Sasuke home, and their farewell had turned into a heavy makeout session mixed with lingering, tight hugs. Happiness filled every fiber of Sasuke's being.

Naruto was his. Sasuke still couldn't fully comprehend how it had happened, but he didn't question it.

He reached for his phone, anticipation coursing through his veins as he looked for the notification that always made his stomach flutter and his heart skip a beat.
