Senior prom finally arrived.

Aspen, Spencer, and Kacey basically forced me to go with them, but I kind of hesitated to go, because I didn't want to be the third wheel. So, to prevent any embarrassment, they brought me an attractive college guy from New York that Aspen knew. His name was Daniel, and god, I found him attractive.

He was kind and cool, with his blonde curls and amazing eyes. He also got firm and soft hands. I got to know him a few days before prom, and I found out that he liked baseball and is studying Dentistry in NYU.

I fixed my dress, waiting for Daniel to arrive outside my door. I looked at myself one more time in the mirror, studying my black, strapless dress that reached my knees, and black heels that Aspen made me borrow.

I bought makeup yesterday, and I just watched a couple of Youtube videos teaching me how to apply proper makeup. Well this one English Youtuber named Zoella is a bit good at it.

I winced when I heard a honk from outside our house. I immediately stood up, grabbing my purse and my phone from my mattress before running down the stairs.

No one is home tonight, so I just made sure I turned off all electricity before running out of our lawn to meet Daniel. I fiddled with the lock on our gate but I successfully opened it anyway, as Daniel got out and opened the passenger's seat for me.

"Thank you." I thanked Daniel as he drove away. "My pleasure." He smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth. The ride from home to school is a bit far, so I decided to break the ice.

"So, Daniel. What year are you in College?" I cleared my throat, and he smiled once again. God, I could want to kiss him right now. "Oh. I'm a sophomore. I go to New York University, by the way." I nodded. I knew that already

"I kind of entered an art contest, and the prize would be a scholarship to NYU. They will be announcing the winners tonight." I flipped my hands in nervousness.

"Feeling anxious?" I nodded. "You'll win. I guarantee that." I smiled at him as he pulled up on the parking lot of MHHS.

I tried to open the car door for myself, but he stopped me. "Stop. It should be my pleasure to open the door for you, my grace." I laughed at his joke as he stepped out of the car and opened the door for me.

"Thank you, Daniel." He nodded as he held his hand out to me. I accepted, and we walked inside the gym together. "They placed air conditioners here. It's cool." I muttered, and Daniel chuckled.

"There's a table there. You want to sit for a while?" Daniel asked, and I nodded as he led me to the table. "Drink?" I nodded as he stood up to fetch us some punch.

I heard familiar giggling and chattering from behind me, and I turned my head to see Aspen, Kacey, and Spencer, hand in hand with Calum, Ashton, and Michael. "Hey guys." They all laughed and sat down on the large round table, leaving three spaces. One for Daniel beside me, and two for an extra couple who might want to sit with us.

"So, how was Daniel?" Aspen asked beside me, as he diverted his gaze to look at Daniel who is lining up to get us some punch. "He's cool, kind, handsome." Aspen chuckled and smirked as I said the last word. "Handsome, huh?" My eyes widened in embarrassment. "No, no. I don't mean it like that, I–"

"What are you girls talking about?" Aspen smirked and opened her mouth to speak. I tried to stop her, but it's too late. "We were just talking about how Allison said that you're handsome." A blush formed its way on my cheeks, and Daniel laughed as he placed my punch in front of me.

"Thank you. And you're absolutely stunning too." He said, and I smiled shyly. Everyone erupted into gasps as a pair came in. We all fell silent as we tried to make out who they are.
