TWO YEARS LATER
ALLISONTo be honest, I like this.
I like the peace that I am now in. I successfully went to college, earned good grades, went on and improved my art, and earned myself a few good friends who were there for me for the past two years of my college life.
I haven't communicated with any of my friends after prom except for Aspen and Kacey, who bid me goodbyes before I left for my apartment in New York.
My parents and I tied our knots together and reconnected, forgiving each other although the past will always be remembered. Riley dropped out of college and started his new business somewhere near the Times Square, a large and fairly famous Italian Restaurant. He made me help him with the decorations and all out appearance of his restaurant, and we both settled on a fancy but affordable look.
The restaurant looks expensive, but the food aren't. It's pointless to charge food abnormally high, because it's just food. It's basically the same thing as the hundred dollar dish served at high rise hotels.
As of now, Riley already owns different restaurants with different kinds of dishes. He has a Japanese restaurant, a Thai restaurant, a Filipino restaurant, which is my favorite so far, and an Indian restaurant who served my favorite curry.
Daniel and I became a thing after prom, but we broke things off a few months ago. We weren't just meant to be together, there were no sparks, no love, no life between us, and we both understood that. We remained friends, though.
Aspen now worked alongside Riley as a business partner, although she should still be in college right now, when you judge by her age.
I made three new friends, because the rest of my high school friends are scattered across the globe. Spencer and Ashton studied law in Harvard, which means they aren't that available when it comes to hanging out. Michael went to Yale, his secretly bright mind leading him to study History. Kacey studied in UCLA, which means she's the closest friend that I have here. We meet sometimes when we have enough time to spare, going shopping together or just going out for shopping.
As for Luke, I didn't know where he was and nobody ever bothered to tell me anyway, which made the night of the prom the last time I ever saw him. He didn't attend graduation.
My new friends are Gina, an art major alongside me, Louis, a psychology student, whom you wouldn't even guess judging by his looks. He always wears sweatpants or basketball shorts wherever he goes and it's crazy. He doesn't care at all. Lastly, I have Bailey, a brunette who studied Engineering.
We went along together pretty well, and I couldn't wait to introduce them to Kacey and the rest of my friends if they ever come to visit. Kacey never had the chance to meet them because she's always rushing to go back to her own university.
"I like your shirt!"
I heard Bailey giggle as Louis tried to impersonate a very fashionable woman who has a fetish for fashion. Bailey liked Louis for the past few months, but she let me vow to never tell him.
We sat cross legged on the grass, relaxing after classes. It's night time already, and most of the students are either asleep or in a party somewhere. We chose to sit here tonight because Gina threw up on us last week when we went to a party, and we never wanted that to happen again.
"Um– excuse me? Do you know where–"
I felt a tap on my shoulder, but my eyes widened as I turned around, stopping the boy who just wanted to ask where something was.
Hell no.
"A– Allison?"
My mouth hung open, taking him in. He still had his lip ring until today, but he looked much older. He had a light stubble and his blue eyes seemed to glint as it reflected against the lampost near him.
"Luke,"
I breathed out in disbelief. He can't be here.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him first, oblivios now at the stares given to us by my friends.
"I'm gonna study here. I took a gap year."
Louis, who supposedly noticed the tension between us, said something that only made me want to bury myself further into the ground.
"You obviously know Allison here, Luke. Why don't you join us?"
I knew this year was going to be a thrill.
END.
COMMENT QUESTIONS HERE FOR ME TO ANSWER
;PLEASE READ
Hi guys! I know I put up a sequel for this before called Bruises, but due to my writer's block and evident loss of interest towards the person I'm supposedly writing for, it turned out unsuccessful. When I wrote this early last year, I was a fan of Five Seconds of Summer. (Please don't hate me for this) I sort of lost interest to the band through time, and to be really honest, I couldn't help it. It's not that I hate them, I like them, but change happens. I am very sorry for the late late late late late update because I was thinking over what I would do with this fanfiction as to not delete it. I decided to just write an epilogue, and leave you to choose their own fate, to finish the story the way you like it to. Wether you want Luke and Allison to end up together or not, it's up to you. I will delete Bruises, and continue to edit this book because I wrote this last year, when I was like 13. I had horrible grammar when I was 13.
THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR ALL THE VOTES AND COMMENTS YOU LEFT FOR ME, I APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH!!
This is finally the utmost end for this story, and I hope you liked their adventure, although there aren't much lovey dovey scenes in here ;)
