Thank you so much for coming along on this LoveIsland journey. As someone who found a sense of comfort and adoration for even the worst of Love Island The Game's Season 2 characters during this time of a global pandemic, it brought me immense joy to write my own interpretation of them in this story. I hope that you faithful readers have come to love Zahra, Lucas, and the other islanders the way that I have.
Just know, their story isn't over yet.
Not even halfway through Lies We Tell, I began to envision what a post-Villa life could look like for Zahra, Lucas, and the others, and so plans for a sequel were developed. I have yet to set an exact posting timeline for this sequel, but know that it is well underway, and detailed updates will come soon. For now, I present:

Synopsis:
It's been a year since Zahra and Lucas left Love Island together, and eight months since they moved in together. Without the extra drama of the show, they've had time to really develop their relationship further.
But making things work in the real world is different from life in the Villa, which Zahra and Lucas have been learning. Adjusting their lives for each other has cued up some bumps and bruises along the way to finding enough balance and compromise between them.
Just when it seems like they have everything almost figured out, both Lucas's and Zahra's individual lives begin to pull at their relationship in different directions. As much as she loves her life with Lucas, Zahra also has herself to look out for, and it seems like Lucas thinks the same way. Torn between conflicting selfish and unselfish desires, the secrets they keep from each other could be enough to bring them closer together or completely rip them apart.
Only time will tell which way their relationship goes.
