Puffy pink eyes roamed around the dimly lit room. Taehyung had thrown him in here a couple hours ago, he would assume.
The guy was unstable, that's for sure. But Jungkook didn't know how he was supposed to keep up with his violent mood swings. He had done this before why was it so hard now?
Before, Jungkook guesses, he looked over it. Didn't pay much attention. Although technically, the constant shifts in his mood weren't as easily detected as they are now.
But what could he do? He barely did anything to upset Taehyung and got thrown into this unknown room.
The room was dimly lit with 2 light fixtures on the ceiling. In front of him on one wall sat a dresser. Would there be clothes in there?
On his left side there was a small wooden desk. It had nothing on it, and it looked old and about to collapse. The surface was coated with layers of dust.
To his right was where the door was at. A small light shone from underneath the crack, giving slightly more light to the room.
Jungkook slowly sat up. The pounding in his head sounded like thousands of tiny drums playing an insanely base related song. He brought his hands to his head to smooth out his temples, but winced. He brought his wrist down in front of his eyes because of the sudden pain. He inhaled sharply.
Jungkook's wrist was not in the best shape. Black and blue hues decorated his dainty wrists like a large bracelet. In the parts where it looked the worst the skin was slightly inflamed. Jungkook clutched his wrist as he held back tears.
Suddenly footsteps were heard outside his door. Jungkook held his breath as he saw shadows appear in the light underneath the door.
The doorknob slowly turned and the door creaked open. The sound only adding to Jungkook's headache.
Slowly, in walked a calm faced Taehyung. He held a tray in his hands as he walked over to Jungkook's bed.
The boy's heart leapt to his throat as he stared at the man in front of him taking a seat. Jungkook retreated into himself slightly. Pulling his injured wrist towards himself as if to protect it.
He stared at Taehyung with wide doe eyes filled with fear. He looked calm. But for how long?
"Hey I brought you some food, I'm sure you're hungry," Taehyung said with a soft voice. As if he was speaking to a child.
Jungkook's stomach growled as if on cue and he cursed internally. Taehyung chuckled quietly, "I'll take that as a yes then." He was about to grab the tray off the side table when he suddenly stopped.
Jungkook held his breath. Taehyung was staring at his wrist.
Without taking his eyes off the boys wrist, Taehyung reaches his hand out to grasp it in a soft grip. Jungkook's breath hitches as his warm fingers make contact with the inflamed skin.
"D-," Taehyung hesitates, "Did I do this?" He looks up into Jungkook's doe eyes with something akin to worry.
Hesitantly Jungkook nods his head; black locks falling into his eyes. That seemed to trigger something in Taehyung. He quickly lets go of him and starts to pace the room.
Jungkook's eyes follow him back and forth, back and forth, until he stops in his tracks. Something seems to click in his mind, because the next second he is grabbing Jungkook's wrist again.
The boy waits in fear of the other. What will he do? It's always a battle with him. You never know what you're going to get.
Taehyung cradles Jungkook's wrist as if it's his life force. Keeping him grounded and steady. He looks up once again and locks eyes with Jungkook. His eyes flash cold for a second and then revert to something more comforting. Although it does little to settle Jungkook's nerves.
He feels as if Taehyung is keeping him on his toes. Every time he's around the former he has to walk on egg shells. One wrong step and it's over.
A sinister grin spreads on Taehyung's godly face. "Star," he says in a whisper. "You know I only want to protect you," he lifts his hand to caress Jungkook's cheek. The boy's breath hitches in his throat.
Taehyung brings his face closer to his ear and whispers, "That's why I took you. You understand right baby?" Jungkook felt like punching this man square in the jaw. How the hell was he supposed to understand the mind of this psychotic man?
When he didn't respond, Taehyung's hand that was holding his wrist came up to rest on Jungkook's neck. A warning.
He gulped when he felt Taehyung's thumb caress up and down the center. Taehyung hummed in question, still waiting for his answer.
"Y-yes I un- understand," he replied breathily. The pressure on his neck faded away. He sighed in relief only to gasp when a wet hot tongue replaced it. The hand that was on his cheek went to grab his hair roughly, while the other was placed on his thigh.
The position of his neck brought extra discomfort to his already uncomfortable situation. He griped Taehyung's shoulders tightly, attempting to push him off even with the added pain to his wrist.
Taehyung squeezed his thigh and pulled his hair at the same time he moved to the side of the boy's neck. Jungkook hiccuped and whimpered as he couldn't push the man off. His tongue was tracing patterns on his skin, making a portrait on a blank canvas.
Jungkook whined when Taehyung suddenly bit down roughly on a sensitive part of his neck. He began to suck, desperately trying to swallow his skin as if he were a vampire that had been starved for years.
Feelings of disgust tried to surface within Jungkook's system. They tried to bring forth more strength to push this man away from him.
Jungkook hadn't noticed, but his back was now laying flat on the bed. His pathetic attempts to push Taehyung off remained fruitless. There was only one thing left for him to do.
"Pl-please," he cried, "stop." But did he really want him to? Yes! What the hell is he thinking? Of course he needs to stop, because if he doesn't then... then what?
Taehyung seemed to jolt out of whatever possessed him and got up on his elbows, breathing hard. He stared down at Jungkook's red face with tiny tear tracks falling down.
Jungkook took a shaky inhale once he was released. He sadly stared up at the man above him. Why had they come to this? Jungkook would never understand.
Suddenly out of the deepest parts of Jungkook's mind came something. Something insane. Something probably stupid, but it might possibly work.
Jungkook tried to mask his surprise on his face because of his own mind. There was no need for Taehyung to know.
Jungkook knew right then what he must do to ensure his freedom and escape. A plan was forming. The only way Taehyung would let him have some sort of freedom would be to fake falling in love with him again.
He'd have to be careful and play his cards right though. He couldn't have Taehyung catching on. He'd think about it more later.
He doesn't understand Taehyung, he never will, so that's why he must act.
Without anymore hesitation, Jungkook threaded his fingers in Taehyung's hair. He barely registered the shock on the man's face before he was pulling him into a deep kiss.
