Bruno didn't confront Mateo about the rock and eventually he forgot about the rock, but he never talked to Mateo for a while. He'd stayed by himself, cooped up in his room. Unless it was big, he didn't attend. The big thing in question was Pepa's wedding.

"Hola Pepa," Bruno greeted the bride and the groom. "Hola Félix." They were in their early twenties. The bride didn't notice but Félix gave a quick wave.

"It has to be perfect! If it isn't perfect, Mamá will kill me!" Pepa panicked, as Félix rubbed her hand calmingly. She stood up.

"Come on, mi vida." Félix said, guiding her outside. "Recuerda, eres mi vida."

"Hey, Pepa! I think you'll be needing an umbrella!"

"What?!" Pepa shrieked. "When?" She repeated. Her brows furrowed. "Why the hell would you think that's a good idea during my WEDDING?!" She scowled at him. "It has to be perfect!" She shrieked. Her cloud started to rain. "You know what I think is a good idea?" She asked, on edge.

"Wh--"

"I think it's a good idea for you to not come to my wedding." She shoved him backwards. "You've lost your invite."

"Pepa! That's not what I meant. Calm down!"

"Why would you suggest that, Bruno? You're supposed to be her brother." Félix said, slightly pissed off.

The two walked out of the house, and both seemed angrier.

And that's when there was a hurricane.

It was the first time Bruno actually felt like a disappointment. But most certainly, it would not be the last.
