Aiden's POV :

I walked up to the house with Noah on my tail, my hand hit the rough wood of the door as I knocked wanting this meeting to be out of the way as fast as possible. I don't do well with strangers and well these are 2 of the top mafias under mine yet I am younger than them so I don't really want their comments of age. As well as this, it will be the first time revealing myself.

The door is pulled open and a guard leads us into the kitchen where the Italian and Spanish mafia are all stood talking. Upon hearing our arrival they look our way and their faces show shock, both I and Noah are 19 while the bosses of the other two mafias are past their 40s.

"My name is Aiden, I am the don of the American mafia, this is my 2nd in command Noah" I voice in my usual roughness as we all take a seat around the large table located in the kitchen. It's more of a dinner meeting hence the kitchen otherwise I assume we would be located in a meeting room.

Introductions went around the table as the food was brought out and placed in front of each person, we started talking about what we expected with the alliance and it was all very simple and easy, mostly we all just want backing when a war is declared or we need to fight.

"You're very young to be a mafia boss Aiden," one of the Italian's children says.

"I'm 19, my dad was the boss and got shot when I was 16" I nod, I took over almost the day after. I never truly knew my dad after the kidnapping he searched for me but always came up empty-handed, when I turned up that day covered in cuts, bruises, and blood he was so thankful that I was alive.

I stumbled closer towards the house where my dad would be, it's been 9 years, the pain grows as I manage to get to the gates where the guards instantly notice me. I see black stars start to take over my view before all I see is darkness.

The brightness wakes me as I glance around the hospital room to see my dad sitting on the bed looking at me with worry.

"Dad" I manage to gasp out causing him to rush to my side. I heard stories about him from when I was there, according to Petrov he enjoyed suffering and watching people beg for forgiveness. I remember the 6 years I had with him, he spoiled me so much.

"Where were you? What happened? I'm so happy your ok" he started bombarding me with questions which caused me to laugh slightly.

I explained to him about everything, the Russians, the girl I fell in love with, the girl I gave the necklace to, the torture, and the girl who died for me.

"Where were you before that, we never heard about you?" The Spanish don suddenly asks breaking me out of my thoughts.

"That doesn't matter" I usually brush off those kinds of questions, few people know about Russia, and I hate talking about it, the memories of her always flood back and I should have been the one to die not her, she had her life ahead of her, she deserved more.

"I heard you found your daughter" the Spanish heir, Ajax, suddenly asks the Italians, they nod with smiles on their faces. I knew about their daughter being missing for 15 years, I'm very surprised they found her.

"Yep, we are very happy to have her home" Victor smiles.

"Where is she" I suddenly ask, this slightly confuses me as I don't usually join in conversations but the lack of the female's presence at the table is confusing given the fact the whole Italian family is here as well as the Spanish.

"She is upstairs" the eldest son Alessandro speaks making me nod.

"Played it hard and fast 'cause I had everything
Walked away, won me then
But easy come and easy go and it would end

(Beggin') I'm beggin' you
Won't you give your hand out, baby?
(Beggin') Beggin'
Put your loving hand out, baby

I need you to understand
That I tried so hard to be a man
The kind of man you'd want in the end
Only then can I begin to live again"

"Or she decided to come downstairs" I see Victor roll his eyes as he speaks, the sound of her voice is angelic and a smile tries to break out on my face yet I don't let it.

"An empty shell I used to be
Shadow of my life is hangin' over me
Broken man that I don't know
Will leave it standing, devil's dancing with my soul

(Beggin') Beggin' you
Won't you give your hand out, baby?
(Beggin') Beggin' you
Put your loving hand out, baby

I'm fighting hard to hold my own
No, I just can't make it all alone
I'm holding on, I can't fall back
Now that big brass ring is a shade of black"

A girl around the age of 5"3 enters the room singing, she seems to be in her own world as she doesn't notice us at all. She has beautiful brown hair that flows down her back, blond highlights are mixed between to almost give a gold colour in the light. Her figure is amazing and my mind replays back to the club. This is the same girl.

I watch her as she suddenly hears her dad and spins around to face us all. Her eyes land on me and stay there for a while which brings a smirk to my face. She runs off to answer the door and returns with a lot of McDonald's which makes me chuckle a little.

She heads to the counter and leans over to get something out of a draw when a necklace around her neck hangs free. My body tenses as I stare at her, or more like the necklace. The silver chain that flows through the elegant ring, the same necklace that my mother told me to give the girl I wanted to marry.

The necklace I gave Adrianna.
