3rd POV :
The whole Costello family pace up and down the hospital hallway waiting for any news regarding their daughter.
The guilt was overpowering all their thoughts at the moment, they just need to apologize. Beg their daughter for a final chance to be a family, protect her as she protected them.
Nico sat in a chair in the corner his mind filled with hatred at the fact his so-called friend put his angel in the hospital, 15 hours she's been in surgery and 15 hours they have heard nothing.
Nico as well as the Costello family was relieved that the traitor who put their girl in the hospital is dead, however, they are all terrified at the fact Demitri Petrov is still out there and after her.
Aiden was sat there heartbroken, the girl he loves is on the point of death. He broke her more, he should have talked to her about the cheating fiasco instead of getting drunk at a club. He finally found a way to fix this and now he might not have the chance to. He needs to make this right.
"WHY THE HELL IS MY DAUGHTER IN THE HOSPITAL" a man yells as he enters the hallway causing all heads to snap towards him.
"Dan?" Nico questions in confusion
"NICHOLAS, YOU BETTER FUCKING EXPLAIN WHY MY BABY IS IN THE HOSPITAL" Dan yells at Nico while walking towards him.
"Excuse me, who the fuck are you" Victor seethes at the man standing a few feet away from him.
"Dan Michalson, Adrianna's father, you must be her biological father" he mutters not particularly glancing at Victor.
"Oh god, your the person who was on the phone with her" Aiden suddenly gasps talking more to himself than anyone else.
"And you are the one who cheated on her." Dan angrily speaks towards Aiden who is now feeling even more guilty.
"Hold the fuck up, I am her father not you" Victor yells back to Dan but before Dan argues back a doctor walks out.
"Excuse me, are you the Costello family here for Adrianna Costello," the doctor asks everyone who has now walked over to her wanting to know what is going on and if she is ok.
"Well she is steady now and should be awake anytime soon, her surgery was a success and nothing serious was hit so she will be just fine," the doctor says smiling at everyone.
A loud beeping noise suddenly comes from the room that was apparently holding Adrianna and suddenly doctors start running off down the hallway towards the room leaving everyone confused and scared about what is going on and if she is going to be ok.
The rush of doctors going in and out of the room leaves everyone dumbfounded as to if she is even alive anymore, and that sheer thought causes Victor to sink into a chair crying along with her family, Aiden, and Nico. They are giving up hope.
The family and friends yell at each passing doctor who doesn't spare a glance at them as they continue panicking and rushing around the hospital.
Adrianna's POV:
A beeping noise is heard from beside my head causing me to wince as the quietness has now been disturbed.
I slowly open my eyes seeing myself attached to a bunch of wires as well as an IV drip.
Sitting up in my bed causes me to groan out in pain as I look at the large bandage wrapped around my chest from where the knife went in.
I grab some clothes and slip them on taking off the gown because who the fuck wants to be stuck in a hospital, while doing that I grabbed my phone and ordered a McDonald's on Just eat.
Leaning back on the bed I take a breath trying to ignore the pain that occurs, hearing a notification pop up on my phone I glance at it seeing as my food is outside.
I slowly open the door to see everyone talking to a doctor with their backs facing me as I rip all the wires out of my arms and attempt to power walk to the exit which I manage to do without being seen.
I stop and take a few breaths allowing a few tears to well up in my eyes at the agonizing sensation that fills my body, I make my way slowly towards the front of the hospital where I see my food waiting.
"20 chicken nuggets for Adrianna?" the driver questions me and a big grin takes over my face as I nod rapidly.
He hands them over and I start walking back to the elevator so I can get the lift to the floor I was on, the doors to the lift opens and I see my family all crying as they watch doctors run around.
Why are they crying though - I'm not dead...
I slowly walk over to them nibbling on my nuggies.
"Why do you all look so sad?" I question causing them all to snap their heads to me and widen their eyes.
"Oh thank god you're ok" my dad exclaims coming forward and cautiously hugging me, kissing my forehead.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I ask them all before Nico starts laughing.
I look at him confused before he seems to explain his behaviour.
"You just had 16 hours of surgery, woke up, and went to get chicken nuggets, I should have known" he laughs causing everyone else to also laugh a bit before a doctor rushes over dragging me back to my bed.
My family piles into my room and it's only then that I notice Dan standing there observing me.
"Dan?"
"Hi princess" he comes over and hugs me making me feel the warmth and love I have felt from him many times.
"What are you doing here?" I ask confused as we have been meeting in secret but there is no way he would have known I was stabbed.
"I'm taking you home with me, no discussion," he says, the firm voice tells me not to argue at all but it sends my family into arguments.
In the corner of my eye I notice Aiden standing there, tears running down his face as he catches my eye and mouths 'I love you.
What do I do, go with Dan, stay with my biological family? Get back together with Aiden? Or leave everyone altogether... there are too many decisions for me to make, and right now I can't even breathe.
