this was a request!

(Y/n) was reserved, to himself mostly with little to no friends. He spent his lunch time at his favorite professors classroom. He spent the majority of his time reading poetry, studying trigonometry and reading history books about the Victorian and Edwardian era.

His parents held him to an unbelievably high standard. He was to be the valedictorian, a prefect, the best student Welton Academy had ever seen. It was the 1950s then, he hoped for a better world once he was older.

He walked with a large pile of books and notebooks in his hands. His face was stern, no expression not even a small smile on his face was seen. That's just how he liked it.

"Today, we are doing a group project." His chemistry teacher announced a proud smile on his face. (Y/n) could hear the grumbling and grunts from his classmates. "I will assign the partners."

"Gerard Pitts and John Levi," he began as the two boys stood up and walked to their now shared desks. One by one the students began to group with one another.

"Steven Meeks and (Y/n) (L/n)," he sighed as he collected his books and then sat by Steven Meeks.

"You can do section one and two I'll do section three and four," (Y/n) whispered as he flipped through the pages of the textbook. "We can then gather our research and begin the paper," he finished as Meeks only nodded.

(Y/n) tried his hardest to stay concentrated on the textbook but couldn't help but examine his partners expressions.

Steven Meeks had freckles, very light ones with hazel almost green eyes. His glasses covered most of his face. He stuck his tongue out when he concentrates, (Y/n) was unsure if he realized he did it or not.

(Y/n) shook his head as he refocused on the textbook in front of him. He scanned the textbook writing down notes on his notebook.

"Class dismissed," the Chemistry teacher announced as the boys gathered their textbooks.

"Did you maybe want to resume the project tonight?" Steven Meeks asked (Y/n) as both boys walked out the classroom.

"We can just resume it tomorrow night, I have other pending assignments." (Y/n) sternly said.

Steven shuddered at this response as he watched (Y/n) walk to his next class.

"He is a scary guy," Meeks' best friend Gerard Pitts muttered as Meeks nodded.

(Y/n) continued to walk to his next class, he was known as the schools "scary wall". None of the alumni wanted to be near him and none dared to speak to him. (Y/n) sometimes felt isolated, unable to do normal teenager activities and only stuck to what Mr. Nolan and the superiors of Welton had to say.

(Y/n) was in his dorm room now, his roommate Knox Overstreet was with his group of friends again. (Y/n) sometimes envied Knox, his parents were strict but not down his throat strict. He had some control over what he wanted, all but his career choice of course. He envied that Knox had friends, a life outside of school and a girl he was infatuated with.

Of course Knox wouldn't stop talking and talking about a girl named Chris, (Y/n) sometimes couldn't be bothered to listen other times when he felt burnt out he'd tune into what Knox had to say.

(Y/n) looked at his watch and sighed, it was almost lights of for Welton students which meant that Knox Overstreet is coming back. (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a little annoyed, the peace and quiet in the room was warming but Knox Overstreet would fill the silence talking about his little crush on Chris.

(Y/n) never understood how guys could fall head over heels for a girl. (Y/n)'s father always told him not to get distracted with girls that they can come once he was done becoming a lawyer. But that wouldn't necessarily be a problem for him, he never found any of them remotely attractive.
