"Dear friend across the river"
A huge bridge covered in red bust from explosions as the sound of a little girl singing can be heard.
"My hands are cold and bare"
Another explosion is heard, along with gunfire.
"Dear friend across the river, I'll take what you can spare"
What looks like a man's silhouette can be seen within the red smoke before an explosion throws him back.
"I ask if you a penny"
Another figure comes from the smoke and shoots the man that was thrown without hesitation.
"My fortune it will be"
The man is revealed to be an Enforcer; what these citizens call their authorities. He unloads his gun, the shell casing flying as he breathes through his mask.
"I ask you without envy"
Now closer, the little girl's voice is more livid, and she and her sister walk the bridge.
"We raise no mighty towers, our homes are made of stone"
As the smoke clears just a bit, there is debri everywhere and bodies laying around. Fire lit all around them.
"So come across the river"
The little girl covers her eyes with her hand, the other holding her sister's hand as they slowly walk the bridge.
"And find..."
The little girl, short blue hair, stops her singing when she feels her sister stop walking. She peeks from her fingers and looks up to see her sister staring out in front of her.
The other girl, also short hair but a shade of pinky-red gasps and breathes slowly as she looks out in front of her.
The blue haired girl decides to look as well and lets out a gasp at what she sees. In front of her was the destroyed bridge, parts of the bridge are missing, there's debri everywhere as they can hear rumbling and fire crackling all around them.
The oldest holds on to her little sister's hand tightly as her blue eyes quickly scan around as if looking for something. She hears clanking metal hitting something and she can conclude a man grunting just to the left of them.
She slowly moves her eyes to see an older man hitting someone with huge metal hand braces. He throws the Enforcer to the ground and hits him again before briefly stopping when the Enforcer doesn't move.
The man turns to look at them as he breathes heavily, making the older girl pull her little sister behind her protectively.
The wind gusts softly as the man slowly walks over to the girls, a sad expression on his face as the little girl clings to her older sister, her big brown-blue eyes flickering to him then the ground.
Her older sister looks from left to right then back up at him with a hopeful look. This made the male frown a bit and looked behind him.
As the smoke clears, the deceased bodies of a woman and man are discovered. The red haired girl's eyes widened at the sight as she let out a breath, blinking away her tears before letting them flow.
She drops to the ground on her knees as she cries, the little girl immediately hugging her neck to comfort her big sister, tears of her own running down her cheek.
The man looks at them then at the bodies before understanding what's happening, he drops his metal braces and a loud thud is heard as he picks the girls up and walks away from the tragedy that happened here.
