"Jak...come on... we can try what we discussed! What's the worst that can happen?" Daxter said sitting next to his buddy, receiving no response from him, it wasn't every day Jak's step father would get violent, but it was even rarer Jak would lose his patience, that patient man was almost nowhere to be seen in that moment. "Jak...?"

Dax then got the hint, staying silent like Jak was, looking at the floor, thinking about how their chance of leaving was taken from them. It seemed Praxis was correct, they'll be stuck with him till the end of time.

Suddenly they started to hear some weird sounds coming from the apple basket, taking the duo out of their thoughts, feeling obligated to investigate, they stood up and headed to the source of the sounds, seeing a....a raccoon?.

A very odd raccoon to be fair, he had a blue cape and hat and he was wielding a stick in one hand, and in the other sat a half eaten apple, the three stood in silence, staring at eachother.

-"Uh... bonjour-" the Racoon was about to speak-

Daxter screamed and grabbed another apple, throwing it at the intruder, which seemed to get him on the head.

-"Ow! Oof- ah- ok that was uncalled for dear god- aaahhhh- this happens way too often though hhhhh" the raccoon dropped his own apple and raised his hands in the air.

-"Dax enough- uh...who are you?" Jak asked grabbing his ottsel friend, raising a brow at the newcomer.

-"Well I was about to introduce myself until I was rudely interrupted!" the raccoon responded dusting himself off, noticing what he was wearing. "oh f- oh no this is no way to present myself what was I thinking?- excuse me" he quickly said moving away for a bit.

The raccoon threw his stick in the air, sparkles started to surround it and himself as the stick was no longer such thing, it was now a beautiful cane, and the raccoon's outfit changed into something much more glamorous, adorned with some small fairy wings. He turned back at the two, who watched him in shock, they couldn't believe what they just saw.

-"that's better, now!....Bonjour Monsie-" he suddenly paused for a second. "Oh whatever I don't know French, how ironic. anyways, you seem to be Jak, and you little rude fella must be Daxter"

-"Wait! How do you know our names?" Daxter asked while Jak was still trying to process what he saw.

-"Simple, I'm Jak's fairy Godraccoon!, but call me Sly, Sly Cooper" the fabulous fairy raccoon finally introduced himself.

-"Fairy Godraccoon?....I...never heard of that" Jak pointed out, what was going on in this very day?.

-"Of course you didn't, fairy godmothers and fairy godfathers are overrated, so I went in and gave you a voice two years ago!" Sly explained, triggering a memory of Jak's, when he first spoke, he remembered he saw similar sparkles around his throat when he woke up, and finally there was an explanation for this event. "but that's not why I'm here, a little mouse told me you wanted to go to the ball, isn't that right?"

-"Well...yes...but there's no chance we'll go...things happened and...we just cant" Jak looked down as he said that, his face only being lifted afterwards by Sly's cane.

-"Of course you can! You already have a magical raccoon right in front of you, what's stopping you?" the Cooper tilted his head to a side.

-"Wait, you'd actually get Jak to the ball? I mean- us?" Daxter asked receiving a nod from the tall raccoon(well, he wasn't as tall as Jak but you get my point-).

-"Just observe, I first need a pumpkin" Sly said, Dax's eyes widening as he quickly went to get one, Jak going to help his small friend. "Good, next I need some horses and a mouse" Sly added, Dax nodding and going to get the mouse while Jak got 4 of their horses.

Once it was all set, the raccoon waved his cane and muttered some words, the sparkles came back, turning the pumpkin into a gorgeous carriage, and the mouse was turned into a driver for the carriage, the horses remained the same, if not for them being able to drag the carriage around for them.

-"That should do it!" Sly said before looking back at the two, noticing the state Jak's clothes were in. "oh no- that doesn't look good- don't get me wrong I love the color and the style but-...whoever did this is a monster" he said as he examined the torn outfit.

-"Won't Praxis recognize me if you simply fix this?" Jak asked a little insecure, making Sly hum and nod in agreement.

-"Probably not cause my magic can make it so he won't recognize you, but if you desire a wardrobe change then that's perfectly fine, do you mind a gown?" the raccoon asked with a nervous smile, the blond thinking about it but shaking his head, he didn't seem to mind.

And before he knew it, Sly did the same thing with Jak, when he opened his eyes, his blue suit turned into a beautiful red gown, his hair nicely done with a golden bay leaf crown, and his very attractive goatee gone.

-"Don't worry about the goatee, it'll come back after this!" Sly pointed out as Daxter watched in amazement, his friend looked so gorgeous."Aaand it's your turn now!" the gorgeous raccoon glanced at Daxter, receiving a surprised look.

The ottsel tried to run, but the magic was faster, tripping him, and in under a second, Daxter was now a human?, a human wearing a nice orange suit.

-"I-I can't drive! I'm an ottsel!" the now human Daxter panicked a little, flapping his hands as Sly rolled his eyes.

-"Daxter you silly goose, you're gonna be Jak's footman!, now go! Before you're late" the fairy raccoon said as Daxter got in the carriage, but as Jak was about to go in, Sly finally noticed the shoes and stopped him."Wait! One more thing!"

With one more wave of the cane, the shoes turned into red glass heels.

-"Wouldn't these be uncomfortable?" the blond asked still a little insecure, looking at how beautiful these slippers were.

-"nope, It's magic so practically anythings possible!" Sly gave the two a warm smile, letting Jak into the carriage. "And just ONE more thing, you two better come back by 12, the magic will start to wear off by then, so be quick when the time comes" he gave them a warning, the two nodding before the carriage began it's way to the castle.

"Have fun you two!" the Cooper exclaimed watching the carriage leave, this night was going to be the night of their lives.
