Ubon's POV:

It's a beautiful, windy day. I can't wait to eat that delicious Tom Yum Goong - my absolute favorite that Jun's cooked for meeee!!

After 2 hours of trying to pick an outfit, I finally decide on one and put it on. And try to find a way to style my hair and make-up to match it with the right aesthetic value. Maybe it's too much?

Nah. I always look impeccable. I always do.

Once I'm done, I examine myself in the mirror and blow a kiss to my reflection. You're gorgeous, gurrrlll!!

My driver insisted on dropping me at the bus stop but I didn't want that. He was relentless.

He's just like grandad - even crushing rocks with bare hands is easier than to convince him to let me walk. Somehow I finally made him agree to let me go on my own from atleast a few blocks away.

It's not like it really matters, but I wish I could build a friendship based on someone liking me for more than just my money.

I didn't want to go empty handed. I thought all night about what Jun might probably like but couldn't come up with anything that I could get her which she would actually find useful.

In the end I just decide to take some flowers. Cuz - who doesn't love flowers? Besides Jun's house needs some colour.

I walk down to the bus-stop with a bunch of subtly fragrant lillies in my hand, to the place where we agreed to meet so she'd lead the way to her home. It's still sunny but there are clouds hovering here and there.

We had a bet the other day at the Café that whoever breaks eye-contact first would treat the other for a meal. I gotta thank Phi Pran for putting that idea into my head.

And guess what? I won! Woo-hoo!

And now I get to have a hearty, home-cooked meal made by Jun, cuz I wouldn't have anything else.

It's 10 minutes past 11 already. I've waiting at the bus stop a few blocks away from the Café, with my bright flowery sundress. She isn't here yet.

Maybe she stood me up?

The wind makes my dress flutter wildly against my legs and i try my best to balance my hat from flying away in the wind, holding the flowers in my other hand. I look up at the looming dark clouds as it begins to rain. Lucky me - I've been standing in shade.

How's Jun gonna get here? Maybe she'd cancel plans after all. Or worse, what if she's on her way here and is getting drenched?

I see a person approaching with a bag over her head, running towards me. Jun.

"Oh Jun!" I look at her up and down to see if she got wet. Not much. Good.

"I'm sorry I'm a bit late. How long have you been waiting?"

"Oh. I just got here, haha," I lie. I'm not going to tell her I've been here for half an hour cuz I was over-enthusiastic. Nu-uh.

"Well then. Let's go."

"Go? How? It's raining!" I retreat further into the shelter.

She holds out her hand. "Aw come on, don't be a wuss. Let's make a dash for it before it rains harder. Plus, my house is just nearby."

I hesitate. I hate getting wet.

She tilts her head towards her hand in way as to say, whatcha waiting for? It looks very inviting.

I place my hand in hers and she grips it tight and looks into my eyes. She nods and breaks into a run, dragging me with her.

"Hoiii Jun, slow down!"
