As soon as I got out I phoned the only friend that I have. Mia and I met in the coffee shop that I used to work at after school. At school, all I had was bullies as I used to attend the same high school as my cousins and they always made sure that nobody talked to me.
After the second ring, I heard the voice that can lift up my mood at any time.
"Hey babe", I heard through the phone.
Mia is the total opposite of me. She is a really fun, loving and confident girl. She has to work at the coffee shop to help her mother to meet the ends as she is a single parent and has heart disease.
"Hi Mia", Can you come and pick me up now? I'm all set to go", I asked.
"I hate you for that. But, nevermind, I'm coming", she said.
"I won't forget you Mia. Don't worry we will always stay in touch.", I said as I know how sad she will be after my departure.
After one hell of a hug, there I was, standing in front of the only thing that can help me improve my lifestyle. Just when I was about to walk to go inside the school, where my dream was going to turn into reality, I felt an enormous pain in my head which stopped me in my way. It was then that I realised that I was hit by a ball. Not far from me, I saw some boys playing football and the one that threw the ball in my direction was looking at me with a smirk on his face while his friends were laughing their asses off.
Seeing all this, all the courage that I had gathered before coming here disappeared. I started to think whether I would be able to do this or not. My thoughts were interrupted by a loud obnoxious sound. Realising that it was the bell, I hurried my way inside looking for my timetable in my bag at the same time. Despite the fact that I will get a timetable at the office, I wanted the one that I had received online as I spent lots of hours to download and print it using the computer that looked like one that my ancestors used to use at the coffee shop. So, I didn't want to lose the thing that my poor soul had to suffer for and continued to fumble for the timetable.
On my way to the office, I collided with a warm and solid thing and fell on my butt. When I lifted my head, I saw that the warm and solid thing was like a greek god and was standing in front of me. The guy had sandy blonde hair with a strand falling perfectly in front of his face. He had brown eyes and his skin was milk and honey.
I winced when I felt a strong pain in my hands. My fingers were being stepped on by a five inch heels.
It was then that I realised that I was staring at the guy. But, why did the girl standing beside him do that? Was it a way of standing up for our friends? Suddenly I started to feel self-concious when I saw the way the girl dressed. She was wearing a tank top, a short skirt and a five inch heels. I also saw that she had a belly button piercing as her belly was showing.
On the contrary, I was wearing a checkered button-up tucked in a skirt with checkers prints. I was also wearing a sweater because of which only the neck collar and the sleeves of my shirt was showing. You must be thinking that atleast I was wearing a high heel but no I was wearing my torn out converse.
It was after hearing an evil laughter that I realised that I was staring once again and it was then that it striked me that it was the boy who was playing football from earlier. All I could see was the way the corners of the boy's mouth quirk upwards to form a smirk and heard the girl calling me a loser before disappearing from my sight before I zoned out again to think if coming here was a good decision or not.

I just hope that it does get better
