idiots still exist

We were on our way to the lunchroom after maths class got over when Sam was stopped on the way by Ryan.

"Let go of me you jerk", Sam reacted on impulse trying to free her hand from Ryan's grip.

"Sam let me explain please...don't you think that I deserve a chance to be listened to? Just once please...I promise I won't ever get in your way again after that", Ryan pleaded.

The way Sam looked at me was clear that she was battling with herself on whether she should give Ryan a chance to explain or not. Even if what Ryan wanted to do initially wasn't a good thing to do I thought that he should have a chance to clear the misunderstanding so I gave a her a reassuring squeeze on her shoulder signaling her that she should go for it and all she did was nod.

"I'll see you later", I gave Sam a side hug and with that I left them both and continue my way to the cafeteria.

After buying a fresh mozzarella and tomato sandwich and fruit juice I made my way towards our usual table and plugged my earphones listening to some songs since Alex and Beth didn't come today so I was alone.

I was halfway into my sandwich when I noticed that some people were here to invade my privacy and I rolled my eyes just to hear them laughing.

Why won't people just leave you alone especially the one who don't fancy you that much?

"I get that I'm pretty and all but are you guys seriously going to keep sticking your butts around me?"

"Woah take it easy...being the sassy queen today I see", Ethan said with his hands held upwards in a surrendering way while Michael and Daniel just laughed at the not so funny joke.

"Why are you guys here anyway? As far as I remember this is not your usual place and neither your usual one is occupied"

"We just came to give you company princess since you were alone and remove that earphone its bad manners because we are talking to you", this time Michael replied because he already recovered from his fit of laugh.

"More like a pain in my ass actually and remind me if you are my dad I think I missed it"

Michael just smirked and was making his way to pull out my earphones but I removed it and kept it carefully before he could reach it since we never know what he may do to it and that's music we're talking about. How will I survive if my one and only earphone is gone?

Ethan gasped and put his hand on his heart in mocked hurt shocking me.

"We are a pain in the ass? WE came here just because you were alone and we thought that you would be happier if someone was here with you instead of sitting alone here listening to songs and eating a...uhmm...what was it?"

"Sandwich", Daniel filled in.

"Yeah sandwich...and you are saying that we are a pain in your little ass...I always knew it nobody appreciate you being nice now. I can't..." he kept rambling.

"Ethan you better stop that before my feet crawl up your ass", he faked wiping a fake tear and started to laugh joining the two other idiots who were already laughing their asses off.

I couldn't be more thankful when the bell rang for the next class. I stood up and started walking to the biology class when Michael shouted "wait for me princess" and he jogged to meet up with my pace.

They do say happiness doesn't last for long but I didn't know that it was for this short also.

"You are going to class?", I asked Michael

"No...I'm going where you are"

"Well that's where I'm going genius"

"Then that's where I'm going too"

That boy is just hopeless. I rolled my eyes at him and kept walking.

"Don't roll eyes"

"Why?" and I rolled my eyes again at him.

"Because I'm telling you"

"Why should I listen to you?" and I rolled my eyes again at him.

"I am serious"

"You are?" and I rolled my eyes again at him.

He held my upper arm and turned me around to make me face him and it wasn't long before his hands traveled to my lower back and I put my hands on his chest to steady myself. The close distance made me notice how handsome he was...those big brown innocent looking eyes, his simple casual haircut and his full lips.

I was brought out of my trance when he whispered

"Roll your eyes now"

I realized how close we were only when his hot and minty breath hit my face.

"No...uh...uhmm..."

"No...uhmm what? Who got your tongue?", he finished with a laugh.

Asshole

"No...it's okay. I'm fine. You can let go of me now"

"Why should I?"

He kept looking into my eyes and it was only now that all the words had to betray me. Let alone forming a proper sentence, I wasn't even able to say a freaking word...stupid raging female hormones.

He let go of me after looking at me for what felt like infinity and when the tardy bell had gone. Great I was even going to be late in class now. I stumbled back few steps before I regained my balance and I fastened my pace to reach the biology class before hearing another "wait for me"

"Keep waiting" and with that I went away with Michael just behind me...if only my legs were longer. I thought to myself.

Heyy there...so another chapter for you guys and I think we should forget bout that author note now hahahaha...it'll not be regular updates yet but we can call it...uhmm...*thinking*..how bout a surprise update?? haha yeah surprise update it is. I know that it's not that long but that's the most that my time permit me again because of school work exams blah blah. Most importantly I hope that you guys enjoy it..thank you for making my story reach 1k reads
