It's Christmas Eve today and this me and nats first Christmas together since we started dating at the start of this year. Nat and I had our own apartment but Tony wanted everyone to stay at the compound so that we could all spend Christmas together, he does this every year but now that I'm thinking about it I know nat usually stays here on Christmas Eve as do I but I never see her on Christmas Day.

Everyone was gathered in the living room chatting and singing along to Christmas songs being played. Bucky was on one side of me and nat was on the other chatting with Clint who's kids were also here tonight, they were playing with Morgan in her room just now. I was talking to Bucky about him plucking up the courage to finally ask Steve on a date for New Years. I also proposed the idea of luring him under a mistletoe and then y'know. I turned to look at nat who had stopped talking to clint, she was just staring at all the presents under the tree.

"hey, you okay?"I ask placing my hand on her thigh.

"I wonder what's inside of them" she said not taking her eyes off them.

"well I guess you'll find out tomorrow" I say giving her cheek a few kisses.

She turned her face and captured my lips with hers in a subtle kiss, nats not a huge fan of PDA, sure we'll share the odd peck or hold hands but that's about it.

"Daddy!" I heard being shouted. (get your head out the gutter).

I pull away from nat and see Morgan and clints kids running into the room.

"yes little miss?" Tony says picking her up.

"we need to do reindeer food, cookies, carrot and milk for santa" she says listing all the things she wants to do for santa dropping off her presents.

"what's the reindeer food for" nat asks whispering in my ear so no one else hears.

"so the reindeers know where to land silly" I say making nat chuckle, resting her head on my shoulder.

"we'll do it later before you go to bed" I hear Tony say, Morgan is visibly disappointed, time to bring out my best big sister act.

"uh uh I don't think so dad, Morgans right we should do it now so we know we're prepared, coming kids?" I say picking Morgan up who now is a very happy girl, with clints kids following.

I take Morgan to the kitchen placing her on the counter, then picking Nathaniel up and putting him next to Morgan, Lila a Cooper stand so they can help me with gathering all the ingredients.

"okay, so I know very little about reindeer food so I need to know the ingredients, so what are they?" I ask looking at all the kids.

Truth be told I done this every year for Christmas with my dad, that's why Morgan loves it so much.

Morgan pipes up first.

"oats!" she shouted.

"okay noted, anything else?" I ask pretending to write on my hand.

"glitter!" Lila shouts getting excited also.

"oh I'm sure we've got plenty of that" I say shaking my head knowing how much of a mess this'll be.

"is that all?" I ask they all just nod.

"alright i'll get the oats since they're pretty high up, Lila and Cooper I need a big bowl and a few spoons, Morgan you take Nate and go find glitter from your room" I say lifting Morgan and Nate off the counter, the minute they're down they start running to Morgans room.
