Part 21

2 years later

"Chelsey!" Lauren screeched through the phone.

"Jesus, what?"

"Turn to channel 28. Hurry!!"

"What why?" I asked as I fumbled for the remote turning the channel.

"Just do it!" She yelled.

"Ok but I don't understand-" I flipped to the channel. "Oh..." Was all that came out of my mouth. I was surprised.

"So Jack and Jack what are your guys plans for the future?" The reporter spoke into the microphone.

"Well we are still doing touring but not right now. We are going to take a break and just travel." Johnson replied then smiled.

The reporter nodded. "Jack" she directed towards Gilinsky. "A lot of your fans want to know if the rumors are true." What rumors?

"That you are taken at this moment?" She questioned.

Jack licked his lips and nodded. "Yes i am seeing someone." His answer was short. Too short actually.

"Will you mind releasing the name?" The reporter asked nicely.

"No I will not. That's no one else's business but mine and hers." He spoke harshly. Johnson lightly pushing him telling him to chill the fuck out.

I turned the tv off. "Why did you want me to see that?" I questioned to Lauren who was still on the line.

"To show you."

"Show me what?! That he is a complete dick, cause I already know that." I raised my voice.

The line went silent for a moment. "You still like him." She spoke quietly.

I furrowed my eyebrows together while I paced around my living room. "No I don't."

"Oh yes you do. Your mad that he found someone else and didn't ever apologize to you."

"No. I'm not mad nor do I like him. That was the past and sometimes we need to let go of the past to get to the future." I spoke to Lauren but mostly myself.

"Ok. You are still going on that double date I set you up with tomorrow night right?"

Lauren got asked out to dinner but she didn't want me to be left at my apartment so she set up a double date. To add that I don't want to go to but she is really excited for this dinner and I can't let her down. That's the one thing I can't do.

"Yes what time is it at again?"

I could just feel her smiling through the phone. "7:30 don't be late."

"Ok I won't. Bye."

"Bye." She spoke before hanging up.

Lets just hope this double date is in my favor.
