Part 29

5 months later

The wedding got cancelled.

Obviously.

And honestly life is great. Well besides the fact that my ex-fiancé cheated on me with my boyfriends ex-girlfriend.

Yes I said boyfriend.

I know I might seem like a slut for going to Jack right after I found out about Cameron and Madison, but I'm not. I know I'm not.

Because I'm in love with him. And I've been in love with him since we first met. Nothing will break us up now.

We are truly a forever.

Now if your wondering what has happened in these past months, I will reassure you that Jack and I are not getting married. At least not yet.

"Ready baby?" Jack asked walking over to the couch with a bowl popcorn in one of his hands.

I smiled at him, "Yes, what movie are we watching again?"

"The hangover" I nodded.

We decided to go back to New York and stay at my apartment until we take anything with the relationship farther. Jack didn't mind because him and Johnson didn't have any gigs any time soon.

He set the bowl in between us as the movie started. I snuggled to his side as his arm was rested behind my head.

"That was literally the funniest movie ever." I said while standing up from the couch stretching,

Jack smirked at me, a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Oh yeah? What was your favorite part?"

I thought for a moment tapping my chin for suspense. "That part when Allen was arguing with the other guys about his satchel." I said while laughing.

Jack sat on the couch and watched me a smile on his face the whole time.

I stopped laughing and looked at him, raising my eyebrows wondering why he was looking at me like that.

He sighed getting up from the couch, grabbing the keys from the coffee table.

"Let's go" he said while grabbing his sweatshirt, walking to the front door.

I furrowed my eyebrows together looking at the clock. "Where to? It's 12:30"

He opened the door slipping something into the pocket of his sweatshirt. "Even better." He said before glancing at me and walking outside.

I sighed heavily watching all the trees pass by us, very fastly.

I looked over at Jack. His knuckles were turning white from gripping the steering wheel so tight.

I placed my hand on his shoulder. I felt him tense up under my touch, but relaxed after a second.

"Jack what's wrong?" I asked in concern.

He sighed, and I felt the car slow down. He glanced over at me smiling slightly, "Nothing just thinking."

I nodded, but I didn't believe him. I took my hand off his shoulder and watched as we pulled off to the side of the road.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car, waiting for Jack to come over to my side.

He reached me and held out his hand, I gladly took it. He lead me into the woods, squeezing my hand.

He lead me through the woods, and I started worrying.

Why are we walking through the woods at 1:00 in the morning? Where are we going? Why does he seem so stressed?

He stopped making me run into his back and interrupt me from my thoughts.

I muttered a sorry, as he turned around. He started into my eyes.

"You trust me right?" He asked me.

I nodded, "Of course. But Jack why-"

He shook his head sshhing me, "No questions baby. Just trust me."

I gulped nodding at him, he grabbed something out of his pocket handing it to me.

"Put this on." He instructed.

I looked in my hands seeing a blindfold.

I put it on, reaching for Jack. He grabbed my hand leading me through the woods again.

- Flashback

After we ate Jack lead me through the woods, telling me to be quiet every time I would ask where we were going.

He put the blindfold back over my eyes before we got to where we were going.
"Ready?" He said whispering in my ear.
Sending shivers down my spine.
I nodded my head.

"Alright." He said while taking the blindfold off my eyes.

- Flashback ended

"Alright" he said while taking the blindfold off my eyes.

I gasped at the sight of the beautiful lake.

- (another) Flashback

In front of me was a big lake, and the moon was reflecting right off of it.
I stood there in awe.

Jack came up beside me.

"It's so beautiful.." I said my mouth slightly parted.

"You know what else is beautiful?"

"What?" I said still looking out at the lake.

"You." He said while grabbing my hand and dragging me to the shore line.

I didn't even realize or have time to react, before I realized Jack starting to...

- Flashback ended

... take out a black box.

"Jack- Jack what are you doing? Oh- oh my god." I stuttered at him.

He chuckled nervously at me.

"Chelsey. Chels. My beautiful beautiful girlfriend." He began, I smiled at him as tears ran down my cheeks.

"You mean the world to me. So much that I would never ever cheat on you. Never leave you for as long as I live. When we first met in Highschool and I heard you singing on that stage. I just knew, I knew- that you- you were something special. And God was I right. You are something very special Chelsey Brookes. You are a star.
My star." He chuckled lightly at his words looking at the ground. I smiled at him, lovingly.

I watched as he got down on one knee. My hand flew over my mouth, as tears rolled down my cheeks.

He looked in my eyes, opening the box while doing so.

"Chels I love you with all my heart. And I don't want to live in a world without you by my side." He paused wiping away a tear that rolled down his cheek.

"Will you marry me?"
