I flutter my eyes open, only to realize that my alarm clock is going off . I slam the snooze button off, and plop my head down on my pillow.

I hate Monday's. Monday's suck.
I hate high school. High school sucks.
But I have to get through them like everyday.

I get up and drag myself to my bathroom. I get my phone and turn on my shower playlist. As I get in the shower, I let the hot water run down my face.
And I let the lyrics consume me.

I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

Flashback (freshman year) ||
"Come on Chelsey, it will be fun"
"Ya are you really gonna back out of a party? Don't be so lame"

"I'm not lame" I said through gritted teeth. My friends were trying to get me to go to this senior party, and I didn't know if I wanted to go.

"You will be if you don't go to this party" Megan said , my other friend Courtney just laughed.
"Fine you want me to go to this damn party, I'll go!" You shouted, which caught the girls off guard.

Megan and Courtney looked at each other. Then turned to me.
That was weird, why did they look at each other like that?

"Then let's get you dressed up" Megan said with a smirk.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

"Holy shit"
"You look hot Chelsey" Megan exclaimed.
"Ya, you might get banged tonight" Courtney said with a giggle, along with Megan.
Umm ok..
"Ha ya, not happening" you said while grabbing your phone off your nightstand.
"Ready?" You asked them
"Hell ya"they exclaimed as they walked out your front door.
"One of the seniors should be here any minute" Megan said with a smirk before walking to the end of your driveway while gigging with Courtney.
"Let's get this over with" you said quietly as you closed your front door.

Chelsey! Hurry up your going be late!
Chelsey! Are you alright you've been in there for like 30 mins!
CHELSEY!!
You heard yelling through your bathroom door.
"Um ya, I'm fine Liz"
"Thanks for the warning, I'll be out soon" you said with a sigh
"Alrighty" your little sister said has she skipped down the hall.

Way to start out the day.

You looked in the mirror. You had on a pair of high dark waisted pants with a crop top that said "I hate Monday's"
With a pair of black and white converses. You had you hair down, with it slightly curled at the bottom.

You took a big breath, and with that you grabbed you car keys, phone, and you book bag.

"Bye dad, bye Liz."
"Bye sweetie" you dad said with a kiss on the forehead.
"Bye Chels, have a great first day" Liz said while running up behind you and hugging you.
"Haha thanks Liz" you said while hugging her back.
"I'll see you later, love you" you said while closing the front door.
