As the trio was walking, they suddenly stumbled across a certain moss head who'd just been chased by a mob—and now, that mob was after all four of them. So Meela and the crew hid under a bridge, all sitting on Luffy.

"Good job, Lu!" Meela said, patting Luffy's back. He was shaking like crazy. The moss head noticed her and gave a confused look.

"Hey... who're you?" he asked. Meela gasped, recognizing him right away.

"You're Zoro, right?" she said. Zoro just stared.

"Yeah! Aren't you like Luffy's right-hand ma—"

Before she could finish, a bear suddenly showed up, scaring everyone stiff—especially Luffy, who fell and dropped them all into the river below.

(A little timeskip)

Now Meela and the crew were chilling on the hotel roof, hashing out the situation. Everyone was fully aware of what was going down.

"Is this for real?! Robin really said that?!" Luffy yelled, pissed and not wanting to believe it. Meela frowned, feeling conflicted too. She didn't know Robin well, but felt bad for Luffy and hoped the woman wasn't actually bad. She trusted Luffy's gut. But man, that hope was getting shaken hard.

"It's time to wake up, everyone..." Zoro said, making everyone focus. "Robin started as our enemy. Then we let her on our ship. She wouldn't leave us out of fear after all this time. Before sunset, we gotta figure out... is she friend or foe?" His words hung heavy. "She said we won't meet again after today. Sounds like she's planning something bad."

"If she's gonna make it worse, there's only one way," Nami said cold. "This time... the successful assassination of the mayor." Meela agreed silently, wishing it wasn't true.

"That's what we'd all think. But since we know she's framing us, it could be a trap—to lead us to the scene and get us caught," Zoro added.

"Wait, you're already thinking Robin's the enemy?!" Nami snapped.

"Just thinking out loud. Not picking sides yet," Zoro said. "If I pick wrong, the truth will slow me down."

"So, we heading to the scene?" Meela asked. Everyone looked at her. Even the bear looked confused by this girl, and Zoro was curious.

"We're going," Luffy said, no question.

"I don't mind, but there's a problem," Nami said. "Sanji-kun saw some masked guy with Robin. Iceberg mentioned the same. He's not one of us—maybe he's why Robin flipped."

"A mask?" Meela thought fast. Rumors about some secret government agency with masks popped into her head. That made sense why they'd be with Robin. She cut in to get everyone's attention.

"Don't wanna jump the gun, but I'd say the masked dude works for the government," Meela said. Confusion spread. "Nams... Luffy... remember how I said Robin's rep is bad?" They nodded. "The government's been after her for years. They're probably using the fact she's with you guys to track her."

"What do you mean?" Zoro asked.

"Think about it: she's been running for 20 years. Stayed with Croc-a-guy's secret crew, keeping distance. Then, after all that, she joins pirates. Now she's in the spotlight and vulnerable. And attached." Meela looked at Zoro. "The government's playing on Robin's weaknesses to catch her."

"Yeah, but how does that tie to her trying to kill Iceberg with that masked guy?" Nami asked.

"Did he mess with Robin? Control her?!" the bear yelled, nervous.

"Hope so. Worst case? Robin and the masked guy are partners," Zoro said.

"My guess? The government's got beef with Iceberg," Meela added.

"Good call. But just knowing about the 'masked guy' or 'government' doesn't get us far," Nami said. "What's our goal?"

"Get Robin back," Luffy said. "Otherwise, we'll never get the truth."

"Yeah... thinking about it is exhausting," Zoro said. "But she's someone the World Government's tried and failed to catch for 20 years."

"Yes, but this is how we find out," Nami insisted. "We have to try."

"Alright! I'm in too!" the bear said.

"Then... let's roll," Luffy said. Everyone got up. Meela paused a moment.

With everything going on, Meela knew she had to help—not just for Lu, but 'cause the whole thing tasted bitter. She thought about the crap Robin must've been through to be such a threat. Her dad warned her how messed up the World Government was. She could think about it any way she wanted, but right now? She wanted to fight back. Meela knew a lot about Robin, but wasn't telling everything—just enough to help. The full story was messy, and she knew Luffy wouldn't care. One question stuck: why Iceyburger? Yeah, he's the mayor, but why would the World Government want him dead? As Meela stood to leave with the crew, she couldn't shake the feeling shit was about to get wild. They were up against the whole world...

...

"Wait... who're you?!" the bear asked, turning to Meela.

"Oh, that's my sister Meela! Meela, meet Chopper! Chopper, meet Meela!" Luffy said, and Zoro and Chopper looked stunned. Chopper especially.

"You got another sibling?!" Chopper said. Luffy chuckled. They all laughed, Meela joining in.

"How much are you hiding from us?!" Chopper teased.

"That's exactly what I said!" Nami added, while Zoro sighed and kept walking. The siblings laughed as the crew followed, all set to save Robin and find the truth...
