As the Straw Hats disembarked from Gomorrah and sprinted toward the building, Meela glanced up at a section that had broken off.

Must be where Luffy was fighting, she concluded. Just then, a giant frog leapt into view, blocking an oncoming attack.

"Thanks, Froggy!" Meela shouted, giving the creature a thumbs-up. She turned toward the entrance, noticing the rest of the crew already engaged in battle.

"Nami-san! Meela dear! This way!" Sanji called, and Meela nodded in response.

"Zoro wandered off!" Chopper exclaimed, his voice tinged with panic.

"How could you possibly go the wrong way?!" Nami yelled in exasperation.

Meela was about to chime in when she noticed more enemies starting to swarm them. Just then, she heard a familiar voice.

"ROBIN!!!"

That's definitely Luffy, Meela thought, her heart racing.

Upon hearing Luffy, her priority became clear. She needed to reach the roof. With determination, she began breaking through walls.

CRASH!

"Luffy!" she yelled as she propelled herself upward, finally bursting through to the rooftop.

"ME-ME!" Luffy cheered, his bright smile cutting through the chaos.

"Meela!" Nami and Chopper echoed.

"Meela dear!" Sanji added as she landed beside him. Catching Zoro's eye, she noted the slight smirk on his face.

"Sorry I'm late, besties!" Meela said, scratching her head sheepishly.

"It's alright, Me-Me!" Luffy grinned as Meela stepped toward the edge, scanning the scene.

Suddenly, Sogeking flew in, only to crash dramatically. As she looked up, Meela's heart sank at the sight of CP9 confronting Robin and Franky. Franky caught her gaze, a hint of guilt on his face. She shrugged him off, giving him a nod to ease his tension.

"I beg you, Robin! I don't care if you want to live or die! Just tell us!" Luffy pleaded, and the rest of the crew echoed his sentiment. "Leave everything to us!"

"Isn't the bridge supposed to lower soon?" Meela asked, glancing at Zoro, who nodded while Luffy looked puzzled.

"A bridge?" Luffy asked, furrowing his brow.

"Yeah, it was going to lower, but you rushed here too quickly, so we had to regroup," Zoro explained.

Meela felt a chill as she noticed one of the CP9 members staring directly at her.

What the hell? That's creepy, she thought, her unease growing as a purple-haired figure began to speak.

"We are the full strength of an assassin group! We control the gates of justice that human power can't open! I have the authority to trigger the Buster Call!" The figure's words sent a jolt through Meela.

The Buster Call?! Like what wiped out Ohara?!

Her mind raced. Dad told me about that incident, and I read about it too. If that ugly purple-haired freak triggers it, we are doomed!

"Exactly 20 years ago, it was the power that destroyed your hometown, Nico Robin!" the figure taunted. "The word 'Ohara' disappeared from the following year's map, didn't it?"

I was right, Meela thought, glancing over at Luffy, who now wore a serious expression.

"Robin's hometown?" Chopper whispered, his eyes wide.

"That mask-faced bastard. I want to kick him down into the waterfall right now," Sanji growled.

"Go ahead," Meela replied, rolling her eyes at the purple-haired menace.

"Stop it! Don't do that!" Robin exclaimed.

"Ooo, I like that response. Does that mean I should press the trigger?" the half-masked freak taunted.

"Do you even know what will happen if you press it?!" Robin demanded.

"Of course!" he sneered.

"Stop it!" Robin shouted. "You said Ohara disappeared from the map. Can you see any humans on that map? You could only be so cruel because you look at the world like that!"

That's a powerful statement, Meela reflected, sympathizing with Robin. She's fighting for them, willing to die to protect them.

"If you ask for the Buster Call now, you'll be blown up too... along with Enies Lobby," Robin warned.

"Yeah, she's not lying. The government doesn't care, especially those elders," Meela whispered, her face twisting in annoyance. Several Straw Hats glanced her way, curious about her contempt for the government.

"Don't be so silly! We're going to be blown by our own allies' attack?" the half-masked villain scoffed.

"Twenty years ago... just one attack took everything from me and ruined the lives of many! That is the Buster Call." Robin's voice trembled with emotion. "And now that attack is aimed at the dear nakama that I've finally found. The more I wish to be with you, the more my fate bears its fangs at you! Whatever sea I go to, I have this great foe I can't shake! Because my enemy is the world."

Meela listened intently, understanding the weight of Robin's words.

"If that's a life I'll eventually lose, I want to die right here, right now!" Robin cried out.

"Robin..." Chopper and Nami echoed softly.

"Robin-chan..." Sanji added gently.

"So that's how it is..." Zoro remarked, his gaze steady. Luffy and Meela remained silent, each lost in thought.

He's made up his mind, Meela concluded, glancing at Luffy.

"WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's so true! No one could think you're not a burden with all your problems! Look at that symbol, pirates!" the half-masked figure shouted, pointing at the World Government flag. "That mark represents the unity of over 170 nations... in the four seas and Grand Line! Do you understand how insignificant you are to stand against us?! Do you understand how big of an organization is after her?!"

"I understand Robin's enemy very well..." Luffy stated, determination etched on his face. Meela nodded, understanding their daunting foe. "Sogeking..."

"Hrm," Sogeking replied, focused.

"Shoot that flag," Luffy commanded.

"Roger," Sogeking affirmed. "Firebird Star!!!" Everyone watched as the flag erupted into flames.

"The pirates have declared war against the World Government!" the marines cried out in shock.

"Fuck yeah!!" Meela cheered, reveling in the chaos.

"Don't even dare dream of surviving with the world as your enemy!" the half-masked freak yelled in disbelief.

"I'd be happy to live with that!" Luffy shot back at CP9. "Robin! I haven't heard it from you yet! Say you want to live!"

The Straw Hats and Meela echoed their captain, waiting for Robin's response.

A long pause hung in the air until...

"I WANT TO LIVE!!!!!!" Robin shouted, tears streaming down her face. "TAKE ME OUT WITH YOU TO THE SEA!!!"

Everyone smiled at her declaration.

"Wahh! I LOVE YOU GUYS, DAMN IT!!!" Franky cried, his emotion spilling over.

Suddenly, Meela noticed the bridge was lowering.

"Sorry to interrupt this beautiful moment, but the bridge is lowering! We should get going!" Meela reminded, urgency in her voice.

"Here we go!" Luffy announced, cracking his fists in excitement.

"YEAHHH! LET'S GO AND COMPLETE OPERATION: SAVE OUR BESTIES!" Meela shouted, excitement bubbling in her chest, though a certain CP9 member couldn't shake his growing intrigue toward the redhead...
