Ha imagine being late when meeting someone ne-'' She was interrupted by a tall man with orange hair and beautiful dull blue eyes touching her shoulder, Lumine turned around to see him. ''My oh my'' he laughed ''I was actually never late Ojou-chan it was you~, Oh and by the way my name is Childe also known as Tartaglia and I'm the ele-''
''Eleventh of the Fatui harbingers I know'' Lumine interrupted him with a serious and cold tone
''So did they did told you about me?"
"They didn't actually, they just told me that you were the eleventh of the- agh you know the rest'' she crossed her arms and looked away from him ''Geez don't be that harsh with me just because I'm from the Fatui, besides, What's you name actually?''
She was quiet for a while, she didn't wanted to tell him her name but she had to do it anyways. ''I'm Lumine'' ''Lumine huh?'' he raised an eyebrow ''mhm... So what do you want with me?'' she said
''Oh I just wanted you to go with me to run some errands since I can't do them alone''
''Wow'' she scoffs ''A harbinger can't even do an errand alone and I though they could do everything''
''Actually yes, we can do everything but these errands need 2 people not just 1 either you like it or not, you have to come with me'' he smirked looking at her cold expression
''Fine then I have no other option right?
''That's the spirit!''

They did some errands and met each other more, when they finished they both decided to walk around in the field, Lumine thought while looking at him ''So he actually isn't bad, hmm I thought all the Fatui's were like that, he's actually really sweet and always there for you, yeah I did met him today but when we were picking some golden apples from the tree, he helped me... Wait do I feel something for him?? Nonono I can't!''
''Lumi? Earth to Lumine!''
''Ah, what were you saying Childe?''
''Ignore what I was saying but why were you looking at me the whole time?, Oh is it because I'm... attractive?~''
''Pfft no, I was just thinking. I didn't even realize I was looking at you'' she grabbed a piece of hair and placed it behind her ear
''Sureee~'' he smirked ''What were you thinking?'' He really wanted to know cause not no one looked at him like that well, only some girls in when he was in Snezhnaya of course.
''Oh uhm things nothing interesting actually'' She said that with a nervous tone. He stopped in front of her and grabbed her chin with their faces close together, they're noses touching and their lips almost about to touch. ''Are you sure Ojou-chan~ I don't like when people lie''
Those words made her blush a little, he looked at her in the eyes seeing her shocked but cute expression ''DID HE JUST- NONONO LUMINE NO YOU DON'T HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM YOU JUST MET CALM DOWN'' she pushes him away lightly and kept walking away from him so he wouldn't see her flushed face but of course he followed her.''Uhmm Lumi is everything alright?'' he said while walking up to her ''Yup everything is fine hehe I'm just looking at the map!''
''Lumine, we're already here though''
''Oh hehe sorry'' she rubbed her nape in a nervous way '' Uhm do you wanna go eat? We haven't eaten these past hours'' Childe said ''Sure why not I am kinda hungry''
They went to eat a chicken skewer and Childe was looking at her while they were both eating ''I thought she was very delicate, well she is but not in that way she's super strong and doesn't have a fear of anything...wow she's amazing...wait-'' his thoughts stopped when he saw that beautiful glow in her amber eyes ''stop thinking things Childe YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE GAY RIGHT?'' he thought. A few minutes passed by and it was already dark.
''So did you have fun with me today comrade?''
''Yeah actually, I thought you were like very angry and serious but you aren't, it was a pleasure being with you today Childe!''
''Can't disagree, it was fun being with you today too'' he grabbed her hand and kissed it ''Hope to see you later Ojou-chan~'' he smirked ''Hope to see you later too Childe!'' They both wave at each other and walked away later on, she arrived at a tiny house her and his brother were staying at and opened the door, he saw her brother Aether sitting and reading some books Lisa gave them ''Oh hi Lumine, so how was it? Did they hurt you or something like that?
''Actually no, he didn't. He was actually very nice with me oh and I already ate'' Aether look at her with his eyes wide opened with a suprised expression ''Wait a he?''
''Yeah what about it? He wasn't bad to me or anything besides the most important thing is that I'm ok right?''
''Well your right but just be careful next time ok? Still if this he is good he can do something to you and I don't want that to happen to you''
''Ok I'll be careful next time don't worry''
''Oh and you need to tell me more about this 'He' I want to know him just cause I don't want anyone bad being close to you'' Aether said with a serious tone while reading the book ''Fine but don't be that overprotective, I'm not a child anymore remember?'' Lumine replied ''Yeah yeah but remember that your big brother is always watching you ok?"
"We're literally twins Aether" Lumi glared at him
"I was born earlier than you!" "Oh shut it, I'm going to shower"
