"I can't wait for next week or else the things I bought will go rotten" he really wanted her to go, she needed a break every time he saw her, she looked like she had a back pain and barely had any sleep. "Besides aren't the Fatui's always working I think you should go now or else" she said"Yes and no, we do work a lot but we have a lot of free time well especially me" he said with a proud face "Still you should be doing something else than interrupting me, Zhongli really needs this" she said while she carried a bag of fresh berries "No worries I'll take this and you go out with Childe you've finished all your errands for today anyway" Zhongli replied with a smile while grabbing the berries "You also need free time so don't worry" Lumine turned around looking at the tall man with amber eyes
"Are you sure Mr. Zhongli?"
"Yes now go on" Zhongli smiled at both of them while they waved at him and walked away, he kept Lumine busy for the week so when she finished she could spend time with Childe for more time "Hopefully my plan goes well" he said

"C'mon comrade I'll carry you cause I guess your exhausted from all the work" he said with a grin on his face "No need I'll walk by my ow- HEY GET ME DOWN!" Childe carried her bridal style and laughed at her response and ignored her "HELLO? I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME CAN WALK BY MY OWN Y'KNOW" she said with a small blush on her face, she did liked it but she didn't want to show any love emotion to him "Dang he's strong I could have never thought he would carry me like this one day, I do like it I'm not denying it. It just feels like if we were dating already" We arrived now please take a seat Ojou-chan and enjoy the lovely view!" he said while taking out some heart shaped sandwiches "Really heart shaped sandwiches wasn't it enough with regular ones?" she said with an eyebrow up "Aww come one I just wanna spoil you a little" he sat down and grabbed a sandwich ''I still don't know if I actually have feelings for Mr. Zhongli, my feelings for Lumine have been growing more and more nonstop" he thought while looking at the sky then his eyes looked at Lumine. She was still blushing but it wasn't that noticeable this time
"Wow these sandwiches are good! Did you make them?" she asked
"Yup I don't remember if I told you but I can cook'' he said biting his sandwich
"Wait you cook that's amazing what's your favorite dish?" her eyes brighten and looked at Childe "Well I have alot" he said "This handsome man knows how to cook? That's amazing ah just kiss me already!" she blushed more when she was thinking about it "Uhm Childe you have something" she pointed at his hair where a leaf was so she came closer to him and removed it. Childe looked at her closely while she was removing it and styling his hair, he grabbed her by the arm and putted her to the ground facing up. Lumine was surprised at what he did, she was even more flustered than before, he looked at her surprised golden eyes and she looked at his beautiful dull blue eyes, "Should I really do this? We just met 2 weeks ago, Is this kinda early? Does she feel the same? Is this the right thing to do?" Childe was overthinking and he kept blushing
"Childe...?" Lumine said with a nervous tone
"Yes?"
"What are you do-" she got interrupted by a kiss in the cheek he didn't really knew if this was the perfect time to kiss her on the lips or if she liked him "Sorry I did that Lumi I wasn't thin-" "No no it's ok I was just shocked we're in this position..." she said looking at the side trying to avoid him "Oh yeah sorry" he picked her up. They were both silent for a while "I wasn't expecting that, I thought he was really gonna kiss me on the lips oh I wish but I don't know if he feels the same. Don't get your hopes down Lumine" she was fidgeting with her hair nervously looking down "Goddamn Childe why did you do that?! Now she will never want to see you again! But she looked so fine... almost if I wanted to- nope don't start with the dirty thoughts"

"I need to tell you something, Lumine"
"Uhm sure what...what is it?" Lumine replied
"Are you mad at me of what I did earlier?" he said fidgeting his hands "No I'm not...it was just shocking at the moment well it still is but not that much why you ask?" she questioned "Oh I just wanted to know but if I made you feel uncomfortable I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that without your permission I also need to control myself" he apologized "Don't worry it's ok" she smiled "I think we should get going it's getting kinda dark now" she said as she got up and wiped away the grass from her dress while Childe picked up the stuff and putted it inside the basket "Are you ready Lumine?" "Yup let's go"

They both arrived at the twins place Lumine opened the door and saw Aether trying new dishes so she can beat her sister "Hey Aether we're back" Lumine said while she was walking to Aether "Oh hey Lumi and uhm Childe right? Nice to meet you I'm Aether" he said "Hi Aether and yes I'm Childe I suppose Lumine has already talked about me with you right?" he said while looking at Lumine with a 'interesting' look "Yup she did and she actually said that you am-" "Why don't you keep attention to your cooking stuff huh?" she covered her brothers mouth with a fake smile, he tried to hold his laugh "I need to talk to Childe outside we'll be right back" she grabbed Childe's arm and he lifted his eyebrow when Lumine said that. They were outside the door and Aether was secretly watching
"Ok all I wanted to say was thank you for taking me out with you" she grabbed his hands
"No problem Ojou-chan I just wanted you to have a break since you have been working hard these days" he smiled
"Thank you and have a good night"
"You too and say Aether to have a good night too" he kissed her hand
He left and she went back in seeing Aether "I didn't do anything" he said quickly "Aether!" she screamed at him and she had a flustered face "So hehe how was your date with him?" he said with a smirk on his face "A date?! We just spent time together cause I have been very busy this week that's all" "Mhm sureeeee~" he said with an evil smile
