Chapter 9
Alina's POV
She couldn't believe that she and the councillors had been going to Havenfield to inform Grady and Edaline of Fintan braking branches of Sophie's wanderling and had found out that Sophie was pregnant, followed by realizing that Fintan was watching them. What was the world coming to.
Sophie's POV
She could feel herself beginning to sweat as Sir Auston (Mr Forkel) giving her a death glare. She had been so busy thinking about the baby that she had not noticed when sir Auston asked her something about the elements. She held his gaze for a few seconds before dropping it when a wave of pain shoot through her and she felt the echoes in her head and arm, before she new what was happening Sophie blacked out.

Sophie felt so much pain and could feel the monster in her, the echoes were worst than the first time she got them. She and Fitz had been attacked by the Neverseen and Umber had used shadowflux on them, the two of the were in the healing centre for a very long time and it was a very slow recovery. She felt a gold breeze and followed it till it led her to a dark corner, away from the pain and bad memories. In the corner she found a memory, it was of her and her human family at Christmas when she was 11.
Young Sophie jumped out of bed and raced to wake Amy and her parents up so they could open presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She shook Amy awake and the two of them climbed onto Will and Emma Foster's bed. The girls jumped on the bed and both burst into a fit of giggles when bo9th their parents were awake they raced down stairs to open presents. Sophie beamed at the E.L fudges she got. After both her and Amy had opened their presents they got out their Christmas costumes and pretended to be elves that worked in Santa's workshop. Current Sophie wanted to laugh at how ironic it was, she had wanted to be an elf and now she was one. As the girl's played with their new toys and pretended to be elves thein was a knock on the door. Emma went to answer the door and Mr Forkel came into the living room holding two really wrapped boxes in his hands. He gave one to Sophie and one to Amy . Sophie thanked him and ripped through the paper only to find a small and insignificant crystal. She glared at the present, it looked nice but what did she need a crystal for. Amy squealed in delight when she produced a pack of crayons and a note Pad, she instantly set to work drawing a elf but was interupted by Mr Forkel scoffing at the drawing. He quick masked it with a cough and Sophie and Amy continued playing. Mr Forkel asked for Sophie to come to him and she ran up.
Mr Forkel smiled at her "did you know this is a very special crystal"
Sophie shook her head and he continued
" someday you are going to need this question to..."
Sophie was pulled back to the present and opened her eyes, Tam came over and kissed her while the was just in shock. She new she needed to go get that crystal back, luckily she knew were it was.
"What happened? " Sophie asked
"The Neverseen have found a new shade!!!"
Oralie's POV
As she and the other councillors left Havenfield a note flew down and rested import of her,
It read "I love you Oralie XOXO".
