Authors notes- hi guys, this is gonna be a super short chapter however I'm posting the next one today. BTW there is a lot of dialogue in this chapter so I'm really hoping it's not too confusing. See u in the next chapter.
Chapter 12
Sophie's POV
"So you can tell me where I can find that crystal?"
"No, only you can"
"What?"
"I'm surprised you didn't get the whole memory back, its quite puzzling" Sophie replied to Mr Forkle with a shrug. Mr Forkle continued,
"Before I erased that memory, I had a conjuror help you put it in the void."
"So, I have to try and get the rest of the memory back to get it?"
"I believe so Miss Fos...-"
"Don't forget about us" keefe interupted, Mr Forkle sighed'
"On the contrary, I will need Mr Vacker to help Miss Foster relocate her memory"
"Of course, you need wonder boy" Dex rolled his eyes while keefe made gaging noises,
"Well, I am her cognate" Fitz straightened up
"I'm her BEST friend"
"I'm her boyfriend"
"I'm her hero with super awesome hair"
"JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sophie lost her cool completely "I don't fucking care who I go with just stop being so annoying"
"Definitely preg-"
"SHUT UP" Sophie screamed at Fitz. She stormed out of the room throwing her gloves at the ground in her anger.

Outside the healing center Sophie levitated into the air and let herself drop as a hole in the sky opened and she teleported back to Havenfield.
Sophie landed on the ground but instead of a graceful landing she fell to the ground in shock (probably would not have achieved it anyway). She placed her hands on her stomach and felt the baby kick. Her anger dyed down and she smiled her first real smile in a long time.
