Authors notes- Hi, the multiple POVs have started again and there is lots of exxesive dialogue, but I hope it's ok.
Chapter 14
Fintan's POV
"Do it for Oralie",
"Do it for Oralie",
"Do it for Oralie",
Fintan murmured under his breath as he was about to add the last ingredient to his potion (sorry I can't remember what the alchemists in kotlc call 'potions'). He looked at the book. The sixth and final step said WAP. He could do it,
"Do it for Oralie",
"Do it for Oralie",
"Do it for Oralie",
Then he poured the potion over Kenric's lifeless body.
Keefe's POV
As he and Tam light leaped into Havenfield he felt Foster's emotions. A wave of confusion washed over him, she felt happy? Then he saw Edaline and Grady hugging her as she cried what looked to be tears of joy.
"Hi Sophie" Tam said as he walked over to her and then the unexpected happened...
*big gap for suspense*
Tam's POV
What is happening, Tam's thoughts became frantic as Grady pulled him into the embrace. Sophie gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I felt the baby move" she laughed
"that's great babe" he lifted her off the ground and spun her around. Then Sophie burst into tears (not happy tears), as Sophie cried Tam just looked at her in shock, what just happened he thought. Keefe came over and Sophie calmed down so Tam assumed he was doing his calming thing. Basically, everyone had forgotten Keefe was there.
Soon Grady was taking Sophie to bed, carrying her bridal style, as she had fallen asleep while they were all talking. Grady put her on her bed and Edaline made very large shooing actions to get everyone out of the room.
Oralie's POV
Oralie knocked on the door of Havenfield. She needed Sophie to convince Fitz from telling the council that she was Sophie's biological mother. Keefe opened the door, which she found surprising yet also not.
"Yo, Ora" she just stared at him. Yo? Ora? She gathered her thought as quickly as she could
"I was wondering if Sophie was home"
"She fell asleep a few minutes ago"
"Could you tell her I NEED to talk to her" Oralie enunciated the word need.
"Sure, do you want to talk to Grady and Edaline or what"
"sure"
"Edaline is just lying on Sophie's bed with her, but I can get Grady"
"Thank you"

Grady had told her to go to Sophie's room so there Oralie was, standing under the door frame, listening to Edaline.
"I love you Sophie, you mean the world to me and being pregnant doesn't change that for a second. I'm so glad I'm your mum, your biological parents was stupid to let you go, but I'm glad she did because without that you wouldn't be here with us".
Silent tears rolled down Oralie's face as she listened to every word. It was extra painful and stung like nothing she had ever felt.
